I had booked this visit over the net and only when I turned up did I realised that I put female but luck was on my side I was able to change room to miked dorm as some have said before me there can be a lot going on in this place but it is very popular with the late... More

I called on the 14th asking for the whole price for staying a whole month, the guy was a friendly Finn and gave me the price I'd seen before in the internet, on the 16th when I came check-in, a SUPER impolite and confused Chinese employee told me it was nearly the price I'd pay to stay in a hotel.

if you'd like to rest at night - pick up another hostel. nobody is watching silence to be kept after 11 pm. also it's very dirty - you can easily find rice in table games or garbage everywhere on the seats. and you are not hardly restricted to drink beer, though it can be a "plus" sometimes.

I always stay at cheap hostels, however I felt very uneasy and uncomfortable at CheapSleep. Some of the permanent stayers are very aggressive, I got sweared at a couple of times. I experienced 4 nights of constant arguments about stealing empty beer cans / 1 slice of bread / half of a cookie / money and just general drunk people's... More

First time in Helsinki and I'm glad I stayed at CheapSleep. Like the name says, it is cheap compared to other hostels around and the place has a fresh and young look. Recently renovated and conveniently located close to public transportation. The bus station is just around the corner and it takes a 15 minute bus ride to the city,... More

The Hostel is not that in centre like i thought - nevertheless it is cheap and easygoing. The staff was not too helpful, so you had to drill until you got some informations - maybe they had a bad day.. I stayed there two nights, it's easy to get there with tram 1A, and 7A from the city or walking... More

A bit outside of the city center, but only a quick tram ride away. The name says it all - cheap sleep. I wouldn't hangout or spend much time there...it was a fine place to sleep for one night, but nothing special at all. They don't have any place to lock your luggage before you've checked in/after you've checked out,... More

The hostel was very not as good as we the one in Tallinn. The name states that it is pretty cheap and that is in fact true. The rooms are pretty cramped and the common area is really not that cozy. The hostel is pretty far from the city center and for going out you need to take the bus... More

We spend 5 nights in the apartment near the Oespenski-cathedral. First, we had to collect the key in Pasila (where their hostel is), 4,5km away from the apartment. This is truly a waste of time. The girl at the reception of the hostel could barely speak or understand English, though she was quite friendly. There are no signs in the... More
