Hotel staff was very friendly, some excellent English. We arrived early before room was ready. They stored our bags without a charge. Room was not fancy but clean and quiet. Lots of restaurants, shops, and bars nearby. They do not serve breakfast but offer a discount at a nearby place, Killans, but we haven't been yet. They do offer free... More

For the price and location, Hotelli Finn is perfectly fine. The staff were quite helpful, location very central. Room was big enough for three people, and clean. I felt quite safe here with my kids. There wasn't anything I didn't like. We only stayed for one night; I gather there is good nightlife nearby but it didn't bother us.

I only needed a hotel room for a few hours before leaving Helsinki and since I was travelling by myself I chose an inexpensive option in the overall expensive Scandinavian city. Hotel's reception is only open till midnight, so they provided me codes for the front door, since I was arriving after midnight. My key card was waiting for me... More

If you are looking at staying in the city centre, it doesn't get more central then this. The central railway station, bus station and big malls are all walking distance. Its a non-nonsense kind of place to stay. Here are the pros & cons +Positives -Close to all means of public transportation. -Lots of restaurants & bars in close proximity. -Malls... More

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room is not very big, but I was the only one so it was quite okay. Beds are, in fact, more comfortable than in most hotels I've visited in my life. In summer it's noisy on the street so only asking for quiet room helps. I liked a lot the approach to cleaning -... More

From the friendly reception staff to the ideal location, this hotel suited our budget. The room was small but it catered for our needs, we loved the quirky lift & recycled room decorations. There was a downside though it was a warm day and the room had no air conditioning a simple fan would have been enough.

We enjoyed our stay at Finn starting from the early check-in (thank you, Lauri), a nice room on the 5th floor, free high-quality pot-made tea. The girl at the reception was very friendly and offered practical advice about the restaurant for the late-night meal . The discounted breakfast at the next door restaurant Kiila was good, too. We also had... More

This hotel is located in a wonderful part of town. Lots of action, with shops, sightseeing places, restaurants, bar, train station near by. The huge problem though is two-fold, NO air conditioning available and major partying noise from the street ALL night long. The town does not sleep. We used ear plugs to shelter the noise but this did not... More

This hotel is centrally located in Helsinki, and the price was definitely right for my wife and I. The room was stylish, youthful, but small: just big enough for two single beds with a little space between them. There was no closet, desk or chair. The washroom is also small but modern. That said, the floor of the shower should... More

Dear academia_nut, Thank you for your review. We have recently divided our twin rooms into two different categories. This allows our guests to choose between cheaper and a bit smaller and bigger and a bit more expensive rooms according to their wishes. Bigger ones do have a closet, a desk and a chair, for example. A squeegee is a very... More
