You can't beat the location of this hotel if you want to stay in central Helsinki. Near train station and just off the main street of central Helsinki. On the top two floors of a building. Basic rooms, nothing fancy. Some of the reveiws have mentioned the noise. My room was on the side street and I did notice some... More

I recently stayed overnight in Helsinki, and this hotel ticked both boxes of being reasonably priced and centrally located - no mean feat in this city! It's a quirky place, but I mean that as a compliment - attractive decor, with a homely but modern feel - MASSIVE flat screen TV in the room too (or, at least, there was... More

Personally I prefer to take the finnair and if I have a chance, I am going to definitely lay over in Helsinki as well :) I had a long term trip to Europe and it was the way back home when I had a layover. So, of course I stayed only 1 night and it was pretty short trip to... More

I have stayed in hotel finn for 1 night alone, the room fare is very reasonable in Helsinki, and the hotel is just near the central station & airport bus stop (around 10 mins walk). staff is helpful & nice, and they have a mini bar offering free tea & coffee at the reception. However, poor sound proof was bothering... More

Booked 2 nights at Finn hotel based on TA reviews in March 2014 - 5 months ago, arrived at the hotel at 11:00 in the morning and asked for a quiet room which the girl on reception promised was assured. Left our bags and came back in the afternoon to find out the small room faced the street. We were... More

You can't get to sleep with the noise from the street below. 5 nights and I a,M going home exhausted with noise from bars and traffic regardless of low cost and location just not worth losing the sleep over

I wanted to like this hotel. Our room was very nice. The staff provided good service. There was just one fatal flaw, that I believe either should have been disclosed or addressed. Although our room was on the 5th floor, we could hear the thumping bass music from the bars and nightclubs in the area until about 4 am. This... More

Hotel staff was very friendly, some excellent English. We arrived early before room was ready. They stored our bags without a charge. Room was not fancy but clean and quiet. Lots of restaurants, shops, and bars nearby. They do not serve breakfast but offer a discount at a nearby place, Killans, but we haven't been yet. They do offer free... More

For the price and location, Hotelli Finn is perfectly fine. The staff were quite helpful, location very central. Room was big enough for three people, and clean. I felt quite safe here with my kids. There wasn't anything I didn't like. We only stayed for one night; I gather there is good nightlife nearby but it didn't bother us.
