This hotel is very cool. Its medieval modern at its best! The lobby and bar were very cool - like staying in a castle. The rooms were very cool and modern (in the new part). The rooms were spacious and clean. No safe (not that you would need it in a place like this). Only cons- you have multiple doors... More

This hotel is in downtown, but slightly off the beaten path. It is a lovely old castle that was converted into a hotel. The rooms are small but modern and very comfortable with gorgeous design. The hotel configuration is a bit strange in that you enter through the old castle part, but need to use key to go through many... More

We went to Helsinki from the 17th of May 'till the 20th of May and we had a great stay at the Glo Hotel. It's perfectly located in the center of the city, at 5 min from the train station, in a quiet street. The Deluxe room are spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom is nice and spacious too. The... More

Stay in a converted mock medieval castle with a sauna in the turret?! What a splendid idea it seemed upon booking. Happily, upon stepping through the heavy wooden door into the lobby it soon became clear that a right decision had been made. Even though it was 1st May and most of the city were on the streets partying in... More

Good meeting rooms with a lot of character. Most hotel rooms seem to be in more modern part, via long corridors and a lot of key operated doors. Rooms very new and clean. Very quiet. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever stayed in (firm) and good pillows. No room service but the basement restaurant was good and... More

This was a very nice hotel which I highly recommend. 10 minutes walk from the City Centre, this hotel is on a fairly quiet street in the art district of Helsinki. The room had only just been refurbished and was clean, unbelievably quiet (I was at the back of the hotel) with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was a notable... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights (26th-30th April), and it's one of the best hotels we've ever been to. The girls at the reception desk and at the breakfast bar are extremely kind and helpful, and speak english very fluently. Our room was very spacious, clean and functional, with a beautiful black-glass shower (situated directly on the room),... More

My daughter is studying architecture in Helsinki for one semester, her University Alto had a class in this hotel to learn the unique architecture design. The interior is very modern and high quality. The breakfast was included in my stay. Its worth the money. Helsinki is expensive, cup of coffee cost around 4 or 5 euros. If you book your... More
