I have stayed with colleagues at Glo Art several times, and every time we have been satisfied. I like the size of the room, cleanliness and touch of design. Also breakfast with little extras (smoked salmon, home-made jams) and cozy atmosphere is a bonus. Unfortunately this year we found that everything normally in the price is extra (tea making set... This is a great building that was built around 1903 as student accommodation the building it's self is worth a visit, the staff could not do enough for us. The only thing I could fault coming from Australia is that there was no tea/coffee making or little bar fridge in the room which we are use to in Australia but... More

The exterior of the hotel is charming, it looks like a castle, so youu can imagine living in one. The douple room was quit ordinary. Breakfast was tasty and well-done, not too many options but quality products. Sercice was ok.

The "smart rooms" are usually very moderately priced and they're at least the same quality as the typical standard rooms in average Helsinki hotels. Everything is new, clean and stylish. Even the hotel's inside car park is moderately priced, which is rare in Helsinki even for hotel guests. Here you absolutely get good value for your money and that's why... More

I stayed here with a friend for two nights. We got an upgrade only paying 15€ more per night which we accepted and was totally worth it! The room we got was very spacious and modern. I would say this hotel is meant for couples because of the shower (there's a glass wall between the shower and the where the... More

We stayed here for three nights from 12 Nov 2014 onwards. The hotel is conveniently located and is within walking distance of all the places you are likely to visit in Helsinki. The rooms are incredibly clean and furnished in modern decor, the breakfast is fantastic and there is free Wi-Fi. This hotel offers great value for money and I... More

Great, personal and beautiful hotel! Architecture amazing, good location - close to almost everything even if its not located on the most busy street in Helsinki. Breakfast good, simple & delicious with home made jam's etc. Small rooms, but very modern and fresh! Totally recommend this hotell!

My best friend and I recently had the chance to spend several nights at this hotel - this was an 'in and out' visit to Helsinki, so we had the chance to see a few different rooms during our stay. Each check in was done in a most courteous and friendly manner; loved the ambiance and lobby decor, which though... More

I found the hotel staff to be abrupt to the point of rude. There was no porter. We were given a room that was on the 6th floor, and required us negotiating 3 long hallways, two lifts and at least 3 security doors (requiring the insertion of a security card) with 5 large suitcases in tow. The place is a... More
