This Scandic hotel is as every other Scandic hotel in Scandinavia. The location is great though. Situated in down town Helsinki. The rooms are ok, as is the breakfast. I will stay here again, because the location is good.

We stayed during a weekend. The location is excellent. Short walk to central railway station and the airport buses. Also close to shopping centers and Stockmanns departmentstore. The hotel has an own bar and a restaurant. A very warm welcoming when we arrived and we had a chance to choose our room. We got a large twin room. Wifi was... More

Great place to stay in city vacation. Close to every place to see in down town. Under ground parking a bit expensive. Very good breakfast and nice restaurant over looking squere. Lobby bar with good selection of drinks, but prices are high comparing south Europe. Thanks to Finnish taxes.

A good classical business hotel. Modern design, a bit *soul less'. The breaks fast was very good. The WiFi worked well. The gym though was quite small. If you are there in 'rush hour' it will be crowded. Staff very friendly

A pleasure to be in a well designed hotel room with elegant wood work. Friendly personal service at the reception and restaurant, in perfect english for us non-finnish speakers. Good restaurant with buffet for quick business lunch. And, on top, just next to the hotel the wonderful Kampin Kappeli, an architectural marvel: a beautiful wooden room of silence.

Air con does not work so in order to breathe you need to open the window. Problem is hotel opens on to noisy square with pounding music bars and very loud people! Forget sleep. Bin men will take over from loud people and the consistently flashing large advert screen will ensure you have flashing lights to illuminate your room too!... More

The location of this hotel is perfect. It's within a reasonable walking distance from the train station and close to all major attractions in Helsinki. In order to reach it, you have to go up a slopy street, but the sidewaks are so good that it will not be a problem. The hotel, however, is too expensive for what it... More

It was my first time in Finland so the hotel experience was also important. I have been working in the hotel industry for last 6 years so it is always important for me)) the room was clean and cosy, the shower and bathtub comfortable, and there is an iron and iron board in the room, which you will not find... This is a very good hotel where I have stayed few times in the past. Location is excellent. You are near to everything, shopping mall, Railway station, Tram stop, Bus station, Restaurants, pubs and bars. Staff is very good and friendly. Always feel at home at this hotel. Rooms are of good size, bathrooms are big enough. Nothing to complain.... More
