I spent a weekend with my friends in Helsinki. My friend booked this hotel quite randomly when choosing room for 3 of us. Room for 3 costed about 105 euros / night and included breakfast. Location of the hotel was quite good because it is near railway station and city centre. Easy to walk in city centre in couple of... more

Reviewer: Tamer Khalil I was in room 608 a double room. When I checked the blanket there was a hole in it (may be it was made through a cigarette), I checked the rooms of my friends we found out blood stains on it the sheets, and dirt on the pillow cover. The room was too small, and only one... more

We stayed one night before going to Messila for a friends' wedding. The hotel looked Eastern European from the outside but was very close to the Station/ City Centre. Our room was on the 5th floor. The room was very big, the bathroom very small! We actually hadd two bathrooms; one narrow one with basin and toilet (with horrendous plastic... more

I was not sure what to make of this after I had read other reviews before going, but was really pleased that we stayed here. We stayed on the 5th floor and the room was adequate. Yes it needs a lick of paint but the bed was comfy and the showers were hot! Really liked the old style lifts and... more

The common areas in this hotel need to be refurbished. I would agree with the other reviews on this hotel. This hotel I would describe as a one star hotel. The lifts are tiny, 2 of which can only hold 2 persons with small suitcases, the 3rd can hold 6 or more. Our bedrooms was a reasonable size along with... more

I stayed in Arthur for 2 nights - it was literally the only hotel in Helsinki that had a room at short notice. There was a big convention on. After reading these reviews I seriously considered staying in Lahti which is 90km North (and the only hotel AmEx could find for me). I had 2 different rooms as it was... more
