The only problem I had was in finding this place. It is close to the central train station but the entrance is tucked away from the main street. I don't understand why there are so much bad reviews about hotel Arthur?!! Arthur is my no. One hotel every time I go to Helsinki and there is nothing to complain!!!! Travelling a lot I've never had a hotel like this. The room was very small, not very tidy (dust on my clothes when taking them from the cupboard). The bed was a joke, kind of childrens' bed, very small, not comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly, breakfast was o.k. more

1. I "survived" false fire alarm in the middle of the night in this hotel. Nobody said a word of apology neither at the end of alarm, neither at check out. I booked two rooms -one for me and my husband and the other for our friends in June. When arriving we received superior rooms, which were not settled for. This is why we did not know the rooms were superior until checking out and wondering the higher cost of the rooms and checking this out at home in the net.... more
