I had my business friend in this hotel and I made reservation to him. We had also a meeting at breakfast in Hotel Arthur. Rooms are ok. and service was good. Breakfast was also very good. Location is almost in the middle of the city so you can walk shopping etc. I can recommend to this hotel if you do... More

I started staying in this hotel more than a year ago, due to temporary budget restraints in my project. Before that, I usually stayed at Glo Kluuvi, Kampp, or Radisson Blu. I'm in Helsinki on business once or twice every month. Now the budget restraints have been removed, but I find myself coming back to Arthur anyway instead of going... More

Top hotel for our recent visit. RIGHT in the town centre near the bus and railway station. We caught the bus from the airport and wheeled our cases up to the hotel. Warm friendly welcome and a great room with first class facilities. Great breakfast too with plenty of choice. A little bit quirky but really enjoyed our stay here.... More

We had a room on the 7th floor(I think number 710) with a window looking at the Main Street: night bus and traffic did not let us sleep at all! At 1.00 a.m I went to the reception explaining the problem. After a quick check the guy at the reception gave us an upgrade, a 3st floor bigger and nice... More

Thank you for your feedback. Nice to hear you were satisfied with the upgrade. It is true that some of the rooms are located facing the main street and as we are in city center there is some traffic through the night. We warmly welcome you to stay with us again. Miisa Sales department More

One of the few Helsinki hotels that hasn't joined any of the big chains... and to be honest... they hardly could without doing a big and expensive renovation first. It's really quite OK all in all but the rooms seriously need a face lift. It's practically a modest, low key hotel and should be marketed as such. The hotel's problem... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you was dissapointed with our hotel. It is true that some of our rooms still need renavtion and we´re doing it step by step. We have also here brand new art deco rooms and also comfort class which are better rooms than our standard ones. We usually get good... More

Very nice and friendly staff all around, rooms a bit shabby but ok as to cleanliness. Breakfast on the simple side, but again everything was very fresh, and included in the price. Overall, good value for money in Helsinki!

Hotel Arthur is located at just a couple of minutes walking distance from all Helsinki highlights. The hotel was built in 1907 and I have the impression very little maintenance has been done since. We were booked in a room with 2 single beds. The very friendly staff immediately gave us another, significantly bigger room. We really appreciated that. The... More

When we checked into the hotel, we were not sure what to expect. Upon arriving in our room, which was supposed to be one with a bit of "extra room" (though an online special at the time), we found there was little more than room for a bed, chair and a little furniture. It was clean. I went downstairs and... More

This hotel looks like hotel in Soviet Union. Very simple exterior. However you have free Internet access and good breakfast. Just a lot of paki, arabian and russian guests. So, if you need save money then this place for you, because of cheap enough and 10 minutes from main railway station of Helsinki. But you can pay 30EUR more and... More

Thank you for your feedback. Next time you should try our art deco rooms; even though the building is old these rooms are new and classic. We are also renovating the lobby and restaurant next year. But actually it is also very trendy to look like Soviet Union-style :-) Best regards Miisa Sales department More
