Short walk to market and shopping areas, twin room was comfortable for two people. Helpful staff. Shower screens are a tad see through so it would be wise to shower in bathers! Restaurant downstairs was reasonably priced. All ages hostel

We stayed in eurohostel for 2 nights. Was an excellent experience. The location is very convenient, around 30 mins from airport and in the Centre of the city. Its a walking distance to the upenski cathedral and the Helsinki cathedral. Also it is walking distance to the ferry and the design shops area. Tram 4 and 4T stops just next... More

I got what I paid for... a hostel. It was one of times I just wanted a decent bed for a small price because I knew I wasn't gonna spend much time in the area or in the room. pros clean room clean bathroom and shower quiet sauna not central but the walk to down-town is nice and around 10-15... More

This is not a 5* SAS Radisson or The Dorchester Hotel - no, this is a hostel. The rooms are small, consisting of a bed, a desk, a window, and a light. There are male & female toilet and bathroom facilities at opposite ends of each floor, as well as kitchen & laundry facilities. It is very cheap but is... More

We were a group of about 20 and had rooms all on one floor and all rooms were clean and well stocked with bedding and a towel for each person. The rooms are very small - college dorm size or perhaps smaller but lots of closet space. If you are travelling with luggage, you can unpack some and put it... More

This hostel has lots of pluses - neat rooms with space for your gear, a coin operated laundry, luggage store and bar. It's an easy walk to town centre and restaurants or a tram ride if you feel lazy (or have bags!) The negatives for me were having to pay for wi-fi even if it is only a couple of... More

Stayed here for one night as part of an organised tour of Scandinavia in May 2014. The hostel is in a good location, it's about a 10 minute walk to the outdoor market and harbour. We had a twin room on the third floor - the rooms and whole building itself look as though they've been refurbished fairly recently. The... More

If you want to be close to the city center and don't want to spend much It's a good choice. Euro Hostel is located in Katajanokka neighborhood, where you can see nice buildings and Uspenskin Cathedral. There is a supermarket and tram stop in the walking distance. It is also very close to the sea. Rooms are very small and... More

This hostel was in a great location with a tram stop directly out the front and a supermarket just a 3 minute walk away. Staff were very friendly and helpful with maps, tram tickets, fridge keys etc. They also have a laundry on site right at reception which was great. The kitchen was small but had everything you needed along... More

Basic budget place, no frills -- which is fine, but there was a terrible smell (like a pile of old socks) that hit me in the face when I walked into my room, and since the windows can't be opened more than a crack, I was stuck with it the whole night. (Staff wouldn't move me since the place was... More
