We stayed 2 nights in the Hotel Fabian and what else can I say other than... amazing. Was nice to get off a 27hr flight from Sydney into such a nice establishment and be welcomed so warmly into the city. The room is well appointed with great comfortable beds, great shower\bathroom. The guys at the front desk pointed us towards... More

I have stayed at this hotel couple of times and both experiences were perfect. Firstly, their rooms are brilliant. Good design, excellent beds and a very personal style. On my second stay I had a suite with own entrance from the yard which was perfect for our small celebration of my friend. Secondly, Im even more surprised with the focus... More

99% of the time I stay at Marriott as consistency is good. With no Marriott in Helsinki, I tried the Fabian Hotel. Beautifully decorated, immaculately maintained, and the staff are exceptional. Sara Virkkala at the reception desk provided an excellent recommendation for a business dinner - very impressive staff. I would give Sara and her colleagues at the reception desk... More

Fantastic find! While it's a boutique hotel, the rooms are anything but! Surprisingly spacious with gorgeous fittings and luxurious furnishings, it was a lush stay! Service was wonderfully warm( thanks Riko!) and breakfast spread was an ample variety. Close proximity to everywhere including a supermarket. About a 15-20min walk to the central station but cuts through the main shopping district... More

What a gem! Staff exhibited the perfect blend of professionalism and warmth. The room (we stayed in a Comfort) was plenty big for two of us, the bed was comfortable and it was extraordinarily QUIET! And, you really can't beat the location! You can walk most anywhere in the center of the city. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. Fresh fruit,... More

Normally I reserve 5 stars for the full service hotels but to give this hotel fewer stars would suggest they were doing something wrong, and they don't. This hotel lacks a restaurant, an on-site spa and shop, but it is a great little boutique hotel. The rooms are inviting, the beds comfy, the staff professional and helpful, the location excellent,... Professional but with a personal And warm touch. Located in a peaceful corner in the center of the city walking distance from most of the good and smart restaurants. Comfortable rooms with all the necessary knick knacks and an iron & ironing board ;) enjoy breakfast in the conservatory

Subjected to what appears to have been a comprehensive overhaul our room was not large but comfortable and everything worked. For a small hotel the continental breakfasts were excellent and all the staff that we encountered were extremely helpful and pleasant. Communal reception areas are not large but for a boutique hotel, quite adequate. Only minor negative for us; rooms... More

Enjoyable stay in a 'Comfort' room. Clean, modern, stylish room; highly professional staff at reception and in breakfast area; nice healthy breakfast (19 euro for non guests); pleasant bar, lounge area. Some minor issues- no tea, coffee making in 'Comfort' suite although we gather you could ask for it, Internet TV didn't always work, some may find the breakfast a... More
