We booked two apartments, a large family studio and a sauna suite. The sauna suite was good, in a modern building, well furnished, quiet. The bed was completely unconfortable. The family studio was not good: an old building, with a small old studio with barely acceptable furniture. Very small bathroom. Here again, bed was not confortable at all. For both... More

We stayed at two Citykoti flats. The first, a compact studio in Malminkatu 32 had everything that we needed. The lift was very welcome. Small yes, but not cramped. We stayed for a week. Although the bathroom was small, it was functional. And functionality is more important to us than space. The flat was quiet, centrally-located and clean. Only a... More

The apartment we got was in Malminkatu 32. We only stayed for 2 nights, any more than that I think I would go for something bigger. It's quite small, but clean enough. Bathroom was probably the smallest I've ever seen. And with a shower, toilet, sink and washing machine all crammed in that small space made it a bit claustrophobic.... More

We did not stay at Citykoti but we did have an interaction with them. in April I made a reservation for late August. Ciykoti immediately charged 100% as they said they would. However my charge card company would not accept a charge from eastern Europe. We tried for a week to get this payment approved but were unsuccessful. Reservation and... More

I stayed in a Citykoti apartment (Citykoti 2) for 7 days with three friends and found it quite cramped. The bathroom was tiny - I could rest my head on the sink if I sat on the toilet and the washing machine and shower were separated by a shower curtain only (little bit dangerous?). The rest of the apartment was... More

We booked one of these apartments because my husband was in the city for a week, and wanted a more home-like base for that length of stay, The location is certainly good, easy walking distance to all sorts of sights, plus the train station, trams, bus station etc. Also a nice supermarket round the corner, open til late every day.... Stayed 2 nights in a standard room. Was cramped and stark. Entrance and area outside the building is shabby. Strict 10am check out time is no fun either. All my other Finnish hotel bookings did not require pre payment but this gem did. My brother also booked here but decided not to stick it out and moved to the Radisson... More

We stayed in City koti apartments Helsinki for 9 days. They adequate for a good base in helsinki. Cheaper than hotels. And clean and well equipped with washing machine dishwasher microwave electric hob. Shower. Tv. Wifi. They are situated in very central position so transport is very easy to get too. Also easy to walk to local sights.

We booked the Citykoti based on a number of factors, including the self-described attributes that included "climate control in all rooms" and "breakfast service". Some in our party have a significant sensitivity to heat - and of course just our luck to travel to normally-cooler Helsinki during a heat wave. However, anticipating this could happen, I specifically chose places that... More

it's ok..but had potential to be a good place to stay...it's more if you just want a place to crash...no "desk" person or way to reach them.. TV remote and wifi not working..it definitely feels like a cash cow for people who want nothing to do with people, esp tourists..just rake in money..I didn't think that would matter to me but...
