We stayed in City koti apartments Helsinki for 9 days. They adequate for a good base in helsinki. Cheaper than hotels. And clean and well equipped with washing machine dishwasher microwave electric hob. Shower. Tv. Wifi. They are situated in very central position so transport is very easy to get too. Also easy to walk to local sights.

We booked the Citykoti based on a number of factors, including the self-described attributes that included "climate control in all rooms" and "breakfast service". Some in our party have a significant sensitivity to heat - and of course just our luck to travel to normally-cooler Helsinki during a heat wave. However, anticipating this could happen, I specifically chose places that... More

it's ok..but had potential to be a good place to stay...it's more if you just want a place to crash...no "desk" person or way to reach them.. TV remote and wifi not working..it definitely feels like a cash cow for people who want nothing to do with people, esp tourists..just rake in money..I didn't think that would matter to me but... More

Our apartment was a well equipped studio for max 4 persons. A double bed and another one up above the bathroom. The studio was modern and clean. The weather in Helsinki was hot, which means that the old buildings without AC are hot as well. Fortunately the studio faced towards the yard and we could keep the windows open all... More

Sadly atypical of Nordic hospitality. The flat had only received a superficial 'clean' and the staff cleared off for the weekend, not re-emerging until check-out time on Monday. I really haven't stayed in such a dirty place before - everything from hair in the toilet to dusty shelves - in fact I left it cleaner that when I entered it.... More

A functional place to stay with all the basics. It was clean and the location is great for the city centre. The price was reasonable in comparison to other places in the area. Unlike other comments our apartment did have a lift and it ours was on the fifth floor. I would have preferred check-out to be a bit later,... More

Myself and 3 young grandchildren stayed in one of these apartments for a week and really have no complaints.Everything was clean, there were no issues and staff couldn't have been more helpful. As check in wasn't until around 3pm and having arrived from Australia around 9am,the reception staff were only too happy to store our luggage until the apartment was available.... More

Let's start with the positive: the location is wonderful in the centre of Helsinki. That's about it though. The apartments are in an old apartment building in the 4th and 5th floor with no elevator, so dragging a suitcase was a pain. Our studio was 17 sqm with a really small kitchenette but no table or chairs for eating and... More

We had a small studio apartment which was adequate but a bit squishy . First impressions were that it would be too small for two people but after living in it for a while we realised it was well designed and equipped with everything you would need for a short stay in this beautiful city. Also the location was great... More

Booking a trip to Helsinki at short notice during the folk festival meant that the ordinarily overpriced hotel rooms were even more expensive and in short supply! CityKoti apartments appeared a little more affordable, although at £80/night, they are still not dirt cheap! Booking, through booking.com was straightforward, and I made arrangements to collect my keys from the airport. As... More
