Average hotel in a nicer than-average location on the edge of a lake/sea-inlet a few miles from centre of Helsinki, close to a hitech business estate and Nokia etc. Staff were VERY good, but hotel suffers from TWO problems; (1) Internet is free but useless. I stay in hotels around the world and I have to say the level of service is impeccable in Radisson SAS Espoo. All the waiters and the front office staff are smiling and act friendly. They have very good suggestions on how to use your freetime. I was surprised how near this hotel is to all city attractions. Good value... more

Nice staff and professional hotel. Why stairs on the ground level ? Internet patchy, but breakfast good, but bar clses early and not very accommodating. SAS in town MUCH better more

An uninspiring building but in quite nice surroundings. Near to business district so handy for many business travellers which seems to be the main clientèle here. This is a very average hotel. Expect no frills (or air conditioning). I appreciate Finland suffers from extremes of climates, but this week it was mid-high 20'sC and the rooms were stifeling. We stayed together with wife for a week in August 2005. Hotel was for full of sportsmen (there was athletic championship, and near is the medical center for sportsmans's recovering, and small stadium). 20 minutes drive on the bus from center of Helsinki.
