Hotel is very clean and basic (dont expect luxury), but very nice location to explore Nuuksio nature park trails and paths. Hotel has also free sauna and indoor swimmingpool. Nice place overall for a night or too. Just remember that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere, so no ATM's or shops nearby :) Enjoy the nature instead!

If you wanna visit Helsinki, take a room from this hotel. Enjoy the fresh nature and silence of it. Rooms are in good condition, food is tasty. Definitely worth to visit for such people which like to combine hotel in middle of nature and like to make quick trip to beautiful Helsinki.

My husband and I spend a couple of days at Siikaranta mainly to hike in close by Nuuksio National Park. Overall we were quite satisfied, but some things were not optimal for our purpose: Hotel: The hotel is a typical conference hotel; most guests attend multi-day meetings/seminars. The interior is a little old, reminds me of a school building from... More

We had a seminar here. The meeting facilities are rather standard, absolutely nothing special. Rooms were what one would expect, clean. Bathroom clean, plenty of hot water. Food was rather good, dinner and breakfast.

Avoid! Bad food, worn out 70's hotel and faulty airconditioning, with noisy pioing. Could not sleep! Hotel has no night portier, so there you are alone with your problems until the morning saves you... not to be recommended!!!!

First the good - it was very clean, so I think they must have taken the critisism of being dirty to heart, because it was spotless. The sauna was nice. The staff were friendly. Now the bad - The food was okay, but very overpriced for what it was. You could tell some things were frozen and simply heated up.... More

We spend 2 nights for Easter at Siikaranta and we were very disappointed concerning the cleanliness and the food. Our room was dusty, the shower was dirty and the pipes of the sink were MOLDY. It was very disgusting. The water didn´t work properly since it obviously wasn´t used for a couple of weeks. The room was very basic (no... More

a nice quick escape from Helsinki to a hotel next to a large park. Hotel is on the lake with several sauna options (never figured out the schedule for these). Didn't expect the hotel to be on a small campus setting, but it was quite nice in the summertime. The free breakfast was quite large and tided us over fairly... More

Stayed for one night during a business workshop. Peaceful place on the lake in the middle of nowhere. Best reached by car, but there is a bus connection too. Basic clean rooms, good breakfast. Free internet. I think this is an ideal location for seminars and workshops, when one needs to get isolated from the busy world.
