We came across this little gem by accident and were throughly thrilled with it. I found the lobby clean, maybe a little dated, but fine overall. We did have a little one travelling with us, and he loved the pool and the 3 saunas and multiple hot tubs. My husband and I got a great room with a fabulous view... more

I booked 3 rooms at the Holiday Club Oulu through Orbitz, but as soon as we saw the condition of the hotel, we high-tailed it out of there and stayed at the Holiday Inn downtown instead. We stayed here in high season on a driving tour of Northern Scandinavia. We'd located what we thought was a Spa hotel in the Mediterranean sense of the term online and booked it. Friendly place, great swimming pool, and seeing the sun set over the frozen Botnian Gulf in the heated outdoor bath at is something I'll cherish. Location, location! more
