I was visiting at the hotel on my business trip. Hotel was quite nice at the outside and the nature around was very nice. Hotel itself has not been renewed from inside for a while but was clean and in quite good condition. Service was good and the personnel polite. I arrived very late and the kitchen was already closing... More

We booked via Mighty Fine and were transported by taxi from the airport to arrive after midnight. The lady on duty welcomed us warmly and brought us reindeer soup after we had taken our cases to our room. The soup was delicious and so was the welcome drink. The hotel is situated next to a beautiful lake and very quiet,... More

Various package tours are the mainstay of this hotel, this can mean large groups and lots of kids particularly at Christmas. The staff is amazingly friendly, helpful, and responsive and go out of their way to keep things interesting for kids. The rooms are fine if a tad small unless you opt for the two room suites. The rooms also... More

We booked the Wild Taiga package for couples which includes a full day husky sledding (marvellous), a full day snowmobiling (great), a Finish bone setting massage (terrific) and herbal bath (indulgent), plus a morning cross country skiing lesson (instructive and enjoyable). The trip included use of their thermal gear, sleds and skis, plus half board (and lunch on the excursions).... More

Hotel is beatifully decorated for the christmasseason and atmosphere was peacefull. Sauna was clean but it could haave been more cosy and dressingroom was too plain. Breakfast was ok but there was no karelianpies, which should haave been there.

I found the hotel rooms very comfortable, with plenty of wardrobe and draw space, although wifi a bit hit and miss in the rooms, but OK in the public areas, Food excellent, although not a great deal of choice at dinner, but a good spread at breakfast. And catered well for a vegetarian in the group. The staff were really... More

Inside my room the decor was quite out dated but everything was functioning and clean. Wifi was hit and miss and often wouldn't connect and then it wouldn't connect in my room but the next night it would. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was lovely and a good variety. If you get hungry through the day bring a food... More

The hotel was built in 1989, and it is pretty much unchanged. A bit out-of-time, perhaps. Our room was OK. It had an old-fashioned, stuffy wall-to-wall carpet (perhaps it was only our room, as we asked for one acceptable with pets). From photos, it looks like the building is made of logs, but when close, it is concrete. The sauna... More

Outside the hotel looks very interesting but when you get in and especially in your room, you'll feel like you were time travelling back to 80's. The furniture, athmosphere and top of all central radio system in the room. But everything worked fine, people were polite, everything was clean and breakfast was good. So good experience overall but with mixed... More

My partner and I stayed here for four nights on a bear watching trip via Discover the world. I won't review that part here as it wouldn't be fair as the two are not linked. This hotel and it's surroundings are stunning from the outside, the room we stayed in had a stunning view of the lake. The staff were... More
