Fairy good place with sauna. Backed by a ~400 m hill so it is easy to see the midnight sun (better explored with a car). The breakfast is nice too. I really like the loft -- the kids will love it, too.

Stayed here with a package tour to Lapland in December 2013. The cabins were nice and clean. It was really picturesque and cosy. Each cabin had a sauna which was needed after long days out in the cold. Great hill for sledding and try the hot chocolate at the bar, it is amazing. Snacks and drinks at the bar are... More

The hotel is good and the people are nice. However, they must have some kind of arrangement with the excursion company "Safartica" because when we mentioned we wanted to call another company to do the Northern Lights excursion they said "no no, let us call the good company for you". They hooked us up with Safartica and made us miss... More

Great cosy cabin in the (small) hills by a ski resort. Just a short walk from the forests and a €15 taxi ride into central Rovaniemi, it was great to be in the peace and quiet, away from the crowds. (Of course it was off-season, too.) The cabin was open plan, so you'd better know your travel partners, slept 4... More

My family spent last Christmas at Oonasvaaran Pirtit, Our four nights were in smallish but comfortable chalets, there was room enough for the 5 of us to live however it was a little cosy at times, but we coped easily. The rooms were clean, well managed and we enjoyed the breakfasts and dinners each day/ night. We never went hungry... More

Spend a week here with my family and must say I had a great time. Conviniently located at the bottom of a few ski slopes. Can't say anything bad about the reception staff. These people are hard working and extremely friendly people. Breakfast staff is not as open but are friendly none the less. Quality of the food at the... More

We have been 7 nights here. We stayed in a wooden cottage with bath, sauna, little kitchen & superbeds ( linen and towels incl.). Breakfast was a tastefull buffet and included. We even got a voucher for the surprise galadinner, what really was beautiful and ended with an impressiv firework. It' s a pity that there is no public transport... More

We stayed with our two boys aged four and six and our little cottage was perfect. Previous reviews cite the loft with stairs as an issue but a good gate meant no probs for us us after coaching our boys to call out in the night if needed. The cottages are small but ample with kitchenette, bathroom and sauna as... More

What a truly magical place to stay, about 3km from the centre, cabs into the centre are 15 euros. The cabins are spotless, ideal for a couple, or a couple with two small children. The upstairs room is very restricted on height and the staircase is very steep. The kitchenette is well equipped and you have your on sauna which... More

My husband and I travelled out 8th dec with two boys age 7 and 13 my 7 year old had so much fun he hasn't stopped talking about it. We loved our cottage although not ready when we arrived but we forgive that now as we enjoyed the cottage so much. Our cottage was so hot some nights we had... More
