Where do I start. From the very moment we checked in to the moment we left it was amazing. I can't say enough about how good the staff are. We stayed 2 nights in the cabins. There was 4 of us and we fitted in with no problem. The cabbin is very clean and neat. It was great to have... More

I and my wife stayed here in a cottage for 3 nights. The free transfer from/to the airport is very convenient, all points of interest (reindeer safari, husky safari, snowmobile safari, ice restaurant, etc) within the Santa Claus village are in 5-10 minutes walking distance. The cottages are large to accomodate 4 people, have a kitchenette with utensils and are... More

Not that expensive and a huge cottage with the most comfortable beds ever (plus it is next door to Santa himself)! We only stayed for one day at this hotel cause our trip was very short, but I really wished we could have stayed longer. The cottages each have a sauna in the bathroom (very fun to try if you... It was like a dream world for the children. Staff are helpful. Inga made her best for organising our trips and safaris in short time. Having a sauna in the room was a fun for my son. More hanger should be added in the rooms. Breakfast was moderate. It's better to stay here compared to staying in Rovaniemi.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 3 nights and found Santa Claus Holiday village to be great. We had to book 2 adjoining rooms (1 cottage though) and found we had enough space. The rooms have stoves and microwave for cooking if self catering. They also have a great shower and sauna. It is definitely warm inside. The kids... More

I had been to the village 20 years prior and said if I had a child I would take them back, and we took our 5 year old arriving on 22 December leaving on 26 December. We stayed in a cabin. The cabins are clean, bed's comfortable and pretty private all things considered. If we had our time again we... More

We spent Christmas 2014 in cabin no 19, in SCHV (a four-night stay) and we can say that was our best Christmas so far! We had a lot of snow, we had a multitude of activities: a 3 km reindeer safari, a husky safari, a snowmobile safari in search for the northern lights, a visit to Ranua Zoo - we... More

Family of 8 traveled here from 18th-22 December 2014. 3 Children aged 4-7. Coming from Australia, the magic of the snow and only 2 hours of daylight every day was magical in its own right! The cabins are basic and very Nordic, but clean, comfortable and everything you need. We came here specifically to visit the 'real santa' and were... More

We went to Santa Claus Holiday Village so that we could visit Santa Park and meet the "real Santa", and also so that we could see the Northern Lights. We had a very interesting and enjoyable stay. The layout of the cottages in the village is extremely charming and picturesque. We were there from 26 Dec to 29 Dec. It... More

Decent (though somewhat spartan for the price), cabin style accommodation set alongside a forest and local entertainment options which have a great Christmas vibe but a definite commercial element which spoils it for the adults somewhat. It's difficult to maintain the magic when Santa has so many places he's at all at once! A range of outdoor activities are conveniently... More
