As others have written, absolutely in the happening part of the city. Loads of pubs and restaurants all around. The hotel is clean, smallish rooms, with a good breakfast! if you want less noise, go for a room NOT overlooking the Avenue.

If you want a hotel on the 'avenue' in Gothenburg, this will do. Apart from that it's a strictly average place and pretty shabby. The rooms are too small and the interior is tired - there are many better places to stay in Gothenburg.
