We tried this newly renovated hotel for a one-night weekend in Gothenburg, a family of three. The decor is fun, as the name it is inspired by old french Paris-hotels and they have really worked to get the details right. In addition the party music is playing in the corridors, the front desk is also the bar, and the rooms... More

This hotel beats the most luxurious hotels by far thanks to the great attention to detail ! It is absolutely worth the trip to Gothenburg alone ! Excellent breakfast room, and there is a roof terrace. If I could, I would like to see ALL the rooms, and then choose one to be my favorite... Eric D

The hotel has managed to keep it's unique soul all through. The room can easily make you feel like dating in Paris around year 1920. Such small details as pearls scattered over make up table or crystal water glasses, actual old books and pieces of old furniture in combination with absolute modern comfort makes it irresistible. We stayed in Royale... More

Newly opened boutique hotel with great ambitions both for lodging as well as eating. Reasonably priced with customer focused personal that is hard to be matched in terms of dedication on this price level. If they only could get the tram to start their services a but later in the morning you could even enjoy a whole night of sleep.... More

First of all, the location is splendid. Yes it might be a bit too noisy for some since the trams and lots of restaurants and shops are nearby. But it is smack in the middle with easy walking distance to all of Gothenburg's sights. The hotel is from the turn of the last century but was renovated in 2014 in... More

In the heart of Göteborg this romantic and cosy hotel gives you the possibility to relax and enjoy. I stay there as often as I can both for business and pleasure. Breakfast is lovely on the roof. If your lucky the portier wears a high hat!

Everyone is helpful & kind. The design of the whole hotel is intriguing and entertaining. There's a nice bar area with a patio & a separate restaurant in the building. I've never stayed in a hotel quite like this place.

Despite the earlier reviews of this hotel, we decided that since it had been newly renovated it would had probably become a lot better. First the positive: location and fancy decor. I was say that is about it. We booked one petite suite. We were aware that the rooms would be small, but nothing prepare me for the ridiculous size!... More

Dear Victoria, let me start by apologizing on behalf of myself and my staff for not meeting your expectations. It is most certainly not our way of doing business, being rude or arrogant towards our guests. On the contrary our service ambitions are high, and the staff constantly perfoms on an elevated level with accolades from our guests, which makes... More

I was here on a Wednesday night with people from work to have a drink. We sat down on the top floor and were amazed by the atmosphere, over the top and cozy and waiters in top hats and bow ties! Unfortunately that was the good part. We were eleven people sitting with empty glasses for at least half an... More
