Stayed at Hotel Pigalle for one night during a weekend break in Goteborg. The hotel was lovely and very much was true to their theming, which was carried throughout the hotel. I was cautious about booking this hotel after reading the previous reviews, but decided to anyway with my partner. I asked for a courtyard view in my reservation and... More

The Royale room (paid 2100kr p/n) was spacious, quiet, with a nice view through the one window towards Centralstationen. Everything, from the concierge to the pictures everywhere, frames a very romantic, perhaps suggestive to some, French setting. Dark, moody, and mysterious. We loved it! Pearl necklaces on the wall. Plumes on the desktop. Opening a bottle of Champagne on arrival,... More

Very nice and comfortable room, helpful and happy staff, great bed and inspiring interior. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway. Restaurant Atelier on the rooftop can also be recommended. Great food and wine, excellent staff but a bit expensive ;)

Great atmosphere, great service and great food. The hotel really is something different than "standard" hotels you will find. Rooms are brand new and the location is very convenient. So if you are looking for a great hotel in central Gothenburg with an excellent restaurant this is the place to go!

I chose this hotel because of its dramatic decor and quirky furnishings, and we weren't disappointed! We had a lovely overnight stay in an individual, cosy room. On the downside, our room was quite cold and we had no tea and coffee making facilities.

This small hotel is located in the centre of Gothenburg. Although I did not stay in the hotel I can truly recommend the hotel bar. Loads of sofas, stylish and cosy decor and nice staff. We had a decent cava and a few glasses of Chablis. The "mixed" plate with various cold meats and parmesan cheese was really good. The... More

Quite simply one of the worst night's sleep I've ever had. If you're in business in GOthenburg, this is not the place for you. Here's for why: 1. The room (No 305) was cold, really cold. I slept in two jumpers, a pair of tracksuit bottoms, and socks 2. Trams pass under the window every two minutes 3. There's minimal... More

The bulding used to be the private home of a rich art collector ( a very big house). It is close to the train station and a hugh shopping mall called "Nordstan". This is a real hotel, but it feels more like a very good bed and breakfast. It feels very cosy and warm. Lots of details, everthing from the... More

This hotel is located so that public transportation drives pass the windows in all sides. Althgouh earplugs are available, the hotel is overpriced for such a discomfort. It was impossible to fall asleep and I eventually moved out. At the same time this hotel could be something for Johnny Depp fans - something devilish is in their interiors, looks and... More

Dear Maria, thank you for your review and I do apologize that you found us not to your liking. Indeed Hotel Pigalle is situated right in the middle of Gothenburg which sadly makes it impossible for us to block out all the sounds of the city. However we do try to minimize the impact as best we can. I am... More

Great Hotel right in the heart of Gothenburg in the Palace building adjacent to Nordstan shopping centre. On entering you are met with a reception area out the 19th century. Unique style plays throughout the hotels common areas and into your own very individually decorated room, mine with period fixtures and fittings. And then the bed. The high bed. Be... More
