Stayed in a Junior Suite with my family. I am a bad sleeper but here I had the best sleep for many years. Had to admit that room temperature was a bit high but anyway, had a very good night sleep. Quiet room which is good. Hardly could hear anything from neighbouring rooms. Location is perfect. Easy to find by... More

Dear Sami S, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Hotel Riverton, I am happy to hear that you got a good night´s sleep and enjoyed the room you stayed in. We are currently installing district cooling in our rooms which is a “greener” alternative to A/C so if you ever plan to visit Gothenburg again... More

Enjoyed a night at Hotel Riverton last weekend. We chose the Junior Suite which was very comfortable. Nice size, all of the facilities you would expect. The sky bar restaurant is great. Superb food and views. Breakfast was typical scandic style. Everything you would expect to find. With the current tram works being carried out by the hotel I'd recommend... More

My partner and I stayed at this hotel while in Gothenburg. It was really just a basic hotel. The first disappointment was that we specifically requested a double room and not a twin room- which we stated on the booking clearly (we are on honeymoon as well). Upon checking in, we had been given the twin room so had to... More

Pros *Hotel is by the harbour, about a 10 minute walk from Central Station on average. We used our phone GPS to find it which guided us on a really complicated route but there are two very simple routes that are pretty much a straight walk so would recommend asking people instead or looking at a map *It's a very... The experience was unique!! I stayed at the hotel last December during a business trip in Gothenburg. I arrived around 13.00 very tired and I asked for some local restaurants around the area. I have been told that there was one at the Haga area... after my insistence the receptionist just told me that there are restaurants on the street... More

Cozy and warm, but please give me some more frost. I really like this hotel in Gothenburg, Sweden. Great location next to the river, very friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic view from the bar at floor #12 where the scandinavian breakfast was relocated to due to water damage in the restaurant. The rooms at the hotel have had... More

Stayed during an exhibition in this hotel, the bar in the high floor is very good and has an excellent choice of wines, dinner in hotel is very good quality. Surrounding is not exciting but ok. Rooms are spacious and clean, nice friendly staff.

Located in the centre of Gothenburg, and yet a short boat ride from the Lindholmen academic and business area, this was a good value hotel. The building and rooms are as they tend to be in business hotels - modern furnishings, neutral colours, etc. On the plus side, there are blinds on the window for good sleep. I thought my... More

We are 2 adults and 2 kids and the room accommodates to all of us very well. Good location. Extraordinary breakfast. Friendly front-desk. Always ready to help. Humongous TVs in both rooms. Junior Suite. Wow, we enjoyed. And more economical than other hotels in Sweden. We will be back, for sure.

We stayed here one night in a superior room. Very comfortable bed, grand size TV, couch, desk and wardrobe, minibar, kettle... All that you could desire from a hotel room! The bathroom was modern design, spacious and clean (very big shower). Good breakfast buffe, lots of cold and hot choices and the first hotel with a good scramble we've stayed... More
