+ Getting there/Transport/Parking I arrived in a rental car. Very confusing as the whole of Vasteras is a one-way system. I initially parked in the multistory garage across the road (above the supermarket) and checked in - then got detailed instructions on accessing the hotel parking (which is behind the hotel). + Around the hotel (suburb) The hotel is on... more

The Hotell Västerås, formerly the Aaros Metro, is located slap bang in the middle of Västerås town centre. As such, it's very good if you're coming to the town on a budget flight weekend or for any other short stay. You're a stone's throw from the shops and the town's good array of restaurants and bars.
