After the renovation this hotel has improved a lot. The dining room looks nice now, staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean, there is free Wifi, hairdryer, no Minibar. There is a bar next to the reception and you can buy sandwiches, sweets, soft drinks etc. The bathroom is slippery because there is no towel to put on the floor... More

A newrenovated Hotel Close to the highway to Stockholm. The whole Hotel is getting a new lifting up shape. The restaurant and breakfast area is Amazing from Before. Lot of parkingspots, short distancewalk from the city. The city has a lot of bars, restaurants, cafes - it should be anything for everyone.

Stayed 20-08-2014 This hotel was the final leg of my recent business trip to the lower part of Northern Sweden, the hotel is well situated with easy motorway access, it saves driving through the town. As with all Scandic hotels, it was very clean, very comfortable (I had a double bed, unlike my previous night in Västerås ) and the... More

This is part of the big Scandic chain, and is primarily a business hotel. The staff are friendly, the food good, but although the public areas have been updated, the rooms are looking a little tired, and are quite basic, although very clean. Comfortable beds and triple glazing are plusses, slippery bathroom floors and lack of storage are minuses. Overall... More

Well, mixed feelings, last hotel for me on business trip this year. Room equipped average, but for. a weekly long stay ok. What come into my nose, was a strange smell, that the restaurant and reception smelled, when came in, but this was not present in the rooms. Restaurant was having a average ambiente, however the quality of the food... More

I visit Vasteras in July most years for the Powermeet, but this was my first time staying at the Scandic. it is fairly near the town centre, and has a large car park. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but simply furnished, my room had no wardrobe. upon enquiring from the very friendly receptionist, I was told that most visitors only... Let me start by saying Northern Europe is not unfamiliar stopping grounds for me or my family: Either for business or to visit family (my husband's) -- and usually both, we spend AT A MINIMUM 4 weeks out of every year in some combination of European countries that all include Sweden. ... Additionally, I need to add that often we... More

Thank you for your rating! It is true that Scandic is a child-friendly allternativ where children and their families feel welcome, but it does not mean it will be enlivened around the clock and that you shall not get to sleep. Unfortunately, it happens that not everyone can manage, and we will then try to say, it is done in... More

The hotel was nice enough, but not great. They were making renovations so it got noisy. They were nice to move our room. The staff was very nice, just make sure they understand what you're asking if you only speak English. We got wrong directions a couple of times, but it all worked out. They have a huge breakfast buffet.... More

The hotel was very nice, reception staff helpful. The room was very nice, plenty of hot water in the shower, and very good water pressure. Room was clean. Only one bed, byt beeing alone it was ok. Good food in the restaurant. All in all good, could have been a bit closer to city center

The hotel is about to be renovated and has begun in some rooms. I heard them when I worked between 8-12. The room was outdated but clean. The hotel itself is located outside the city centre close to the highway. Good for sleeping, but nothing moore.

Thank you for your rating! The hotel is now renovated to a great extent and we have a new restaurant bar that will make your visit with us, worth a little more than just sleeping, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the city with city bus outside takes 2 minutes. More
