I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service and quality of the accommodation at this hostel/hotel. I had a query before I arrived and they emailed me with everything I needed to know - all in English of course... My room suited my needs completely. I couldn't call it pretty but the bed was comfortable, the TV worked and... More

Taking into account Swedish prices... this hostel isnt bad at all. Tho rooms are tiny and feel like bunkers. But deff worth your money if you are looking to save some kronas :) The restrooms are clean as well as the room. The food offered in their cafe isnt expensive either, plus is good. The only down thing is that... More

Jus across the Uppsala Railway station.. Simple yet trendy.. You'll miss the windows.. Arranged in the form of ship bunkers style.. Washrooms small and clean.. Pleasant check in...Lot of the inmates are long staying guests...very pleasant society..always helpful.. People who are uncomfortable to live in rooms without windows...should think twice.. Overall value for money.. Very close to the Uppsala University..other... More

Three of us were staying here for 4 nights. We were visiting my daughter and son in law for Christmas, so spent little time here. Location was good for transport and close to the city centre. We had a large double room with ensuite. There was access to internet via code to use in the room. The beds were comfortable... More

I stayed at the house, so I got a bigger and much nicer bedroom than in the hostel, for the same price. If you choose the cheapest rooms and you have to pay for bed linen, it's not worth it, because you'll end up paying the same or even more, if you also pay for the breakfast aside. The breakfast... I stayed one week in this hostel and besides the fact that it is within a stone's throw of Uppsala's central station there is not much above average. My room was clean and calm but had no window and was rather tiny. The beds are fixed to the walls and small too. Nevertheless, the staff was helpful and friendly, the... More

I booked a room at Hotel Centralstationen and found that it was a hostel room with bed sheets included. The rooms are small, the beds are only 80cm wide and the tv is placed on the pillow side of the room. The shared showers don't include schampoo. When I book a hotel room I take for granted that soap and... More

Good location being towards the centre of Uppsala although it was difficult to locate even from the train station. When we booked the price was the cheapest we could get in Uppsala although it was still expensive for hostel standards. It did not work out to be cheap because you have to pay for bed linen. It was O.K for... More

I stayed in a room at the hotel part. The room was sparcely decorated, mainly with furniture from Ikea... The room was clean, there was hot water in the shower and it was peaceful and quite (although I had a feeling that it will not be quite if the neighbours are too noisy). My bed was not made during my... More

+ Not too expensive + Nice design, very (too !) clean + huge common bathroom area + very nice breakfast choice + central location. ~ Not an hostel feeling: no personnality at all, poor common area. - Mostly rooms without windows. - Very, very small rooms ! First night in a 2 beds-room where there was just enough space to... More
