Being built as a hotel already in 1888, Park Hotel (formerly the Railway Hotel), is a hotel as far from your ordinary business hotel as you can possibly imagine. Just calling their hotel "The Fawlty Towers of Linkøping" is evidence that this hotel wants to cater for customers who wants something different and on top of that has a good... More

"Mr Fawlty must stop trying to watch me through the window on a ladder, Mrs Fawlty must stop laughing, I found Manual's rat under my pillow, and Polly couldn't stop laughing at me when trying to draw me ... And the Major is definitely a good guy". For those who understands, ;o). For those who don't, go buy Fawlty Towers's... More

We were on the third floor. The closet had been turned into a shower. That's the quirky part (well, moose heads and armored man also.) But comfortable. Had a nice parking lot for our new Volvo. In the city so we could walk around. This was a one night stop from Copenhagen to Stockholm. The reception lady was very friendly... More

We stayed for only one night, but would be happy to stay longer the next time we are in town. 2 grown ups and 2 kids of 4 & 7, arrived after dinner time so we didn't have the chance to try the food or afternoon tea. A verk nice lady greeted us at the reception desk, and told us... More

The welcome was very special, thank you. Our room was excellent, very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was exceptional, and again, on checking out, our hostess Therese was exceptionally helpful and polite. Location absolutely perfect. Thank you and we plan to return!

I was here for a fee days and did not know the area at all and so booked the hotel closest to the train station. I didn't have very high expectations but the hotel is great! Really welcoming with nice quiet rooms and really nice staff. If I'm back here again then will stay again for sure!

Right opposite the train station , this hotel is defn a must stay !! The interiors of the hotel will leave you stunned and honestly I was not expecting this :) I found the room to be a little cold probably since I'm from a tropical climate and could not get used to the cold weather outside...

Some people enjoy large hotel chains with the same rooms ans concepts what ever city you are in. I don't, and I venture a guess that the owners of the Park hotel / Fawlty Towers share my opinion! Already in the entrance, there are stuffed moose heads on the walls, a piano in the corridor and the atmosphere is much... More

Funky fun hotel, based on"Fawlty Towers"' host "Cybil" aka Susanne was very accommodating and informative. We had a great stay. Building is old a quirky but all rooms have been updated and modernized. Convenient location. Excellent wifi service, clean and friendly, and priced just right. Definitely would recommend or stay again.

I stayed here over a long weekend in June. It's directly across the street from the central bus and train station which is of course convenient. It's a five minute walk to the main area with restaurants, shopping, and clubs. The staff are very friendly and like anywhere else in Sweden, they speak excellent English. The rooms are spacious and... More
