I only had 3 nights here (my friend had longer) but it was well worth the visit. I used the hotel transfer from the airport and was collected in style for the 50 minute drive to Kamalaya. We had a room only deal and meals were absolutely delicious with plenty of choices from the a la carte menu. They do... More

We stayed here for a week in early 2015 and as many people have described...we didn't want to leave! Tranquility, peace, calm and everything in between lives here at Kamalaya. Recharge your batteries here and you will be able to conquer the world...or at least your messy office but looking refreshed! Maybe come back more than once... we sure will!... More

This was well worth every dollar! Me and my friend went for a 5 night stay and loved every minute! The treatment, service, pool, pools, gym and food was all out standing! They even pack you a healthy lunch for the airport trip home! There was construction during our stay but it definitely didn't effect our stay too dramatically! Recommend!!!

My wife had the pleasure of staying at Kamalaya in early June 2015. We were there for 1 week, on the 7 day Relax and Renew package. Room: We stayed in a Villa Sea View room. The size was great with a comfortable sitting area inside and out to enjoy the fantastic views. The rooms have either an outdoor or... More

Kamalya is a really special place with beautiful scenery and incredibly friendly staff. We loved every minute of our stay. We both had acupuncture and were very impressed by the high standards of treatment we received. Above expectations! After just four days at kamalya we both felt so much better - rejuvenated, relaxed and healthy. It made such a difference... More

Kamalaya is a health spa/ holistic retreat. It's not a party place or a nice place to have a holiday joint, go the intercontental or whatever instead. I like to read the other reviews before writing, to see if I agree, so I can be objective. In general I think you come here to recharge, detox or do a program... More

WARNING: CONSTRUCTION CONSTRUCTION CONSTRUCTION!! There is major construction going on in and around this property. When I say major I mean two bulldozers, one with a backhoe and one with a rock hammer, hammering away all day on the adjacent property. The resort made no mention of this before I booked with the reservation. Upon arrival, however, I did receive... More

There are small scale projects taking place at a distance to Kamalaya on neighboring land: Our neighbors to the right have informed us that they will be building about four villas around 200m from our border which will be surrounded by open parkland with water features. The construction of these villas has not started and is not expected to start... More

Kamalaya did not disappoint - healthy but delicious and beautiful food, tranquil surroundings, the best week of yoga and the most exceptional staff. Spent a week with some girl friends and we had an amazing time. The resort does a great job of combining health and wellness in a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. We had such a great time that... A trip of a lifetime...here's why: Food - expensive. We pad the equivalent of £52 for one dinnr. However, it is exquisitive. One first day of arriving at lunchtime, I made the "mistake" of ordering the detox mushroom risotto, having failed to find the non-detox menu for some reason. What a mistake! That thing was easily one of the best... More

Program of activities where great, everyone was polite and helpful. Went on the detox and felt great at the end of it and lost a decent amount of weight. Downside was the amount of tablets you had to have, often made you feel sick at time of taking them, whereas at other detox places the daily diet/menu plan was created... More
