We spent 3 days at this resort and I must say, it's one the best 3 days of my life so far. From head to toe, it's difficult to find flaws regarding this wonderful resort. When you arrive, you'll head to a wellness consultation to make sure you utilise the fullest of this place. The rooms, amazing, from the bedding... More

I didn't go to Kamalaya to start a new health regime. I'm healthy as it is. But it appeals to have somewhere you can really do everything you want to do if you're in to nothing (nothing is also a very good option. The place is a chillfest). I don't eat gluten, dairy or egg which can make travel a... More

We spent only 5 days at this resort in February but even in that short space of time I felt totally relaxed and renewed like never before. I had reached Kamalaya very stressed and burnt out due to work pressures and needed to wind down. I had found Kamalaya on web search for a yoga retreat in Thailand. It is... More

This place is Wellness with a capital W. The vibe, the food, the people and the service.... all excellent. We will definitely come back the first chance we get. Special thanks to Rajesh and Klack who took good care of us.. Good to know for travellers travelling solo, you will fit in as peas in a pod. Grtz Mona &... More

Kamalaya has created an oasis. The staff are of the highest calibre, the resort design is sensitive and relaxing (well, may be not all those hills and steps you have to climb!) and atmosphere and approach is holistic and gentle. None of the hard sell you get at places like Chiva Som exists here, just high quality service, friendly people... More

As life progresses you find yourself less and less surprised by events, emotions, views and experiences. You start to feel as if memories merge, holidays start to melt into other holidays, benchmarks rise and things that once impressed become standard requirements. The search for satisfaction becomes ever harder to achieve. I have just arrived back from Kamalaya and I have... More

Kamalaya is all that it promises to be. Beautiful gardens, pristine beach, the most amazing healthy food and great treatments. For those in the mood there are lots of activities to choose from during the day. We booked the least expensive room, which was still about five time the price what we would normally pay, but it was worth it... More

I stayed at Kamalaya for a week earlier this year (January 2-9, 2014). The wellness facility and spa, in a wonderful location, are truly world class and a pleasure to use. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff or reception. The downside of Kamalaya is the somewhat tired accommodation with hard and uncomfortable beds and, in my case, no... More

Food is superb, even when detoxing, the treatments are effective and pleasant, but the staff is what makes this place unique. Not only their natural kindness, but also their aim to accommodate you and find solutions for your every question! Location wise for me, it's not ideal. Too secluded: not much opportunities to make long walks ( depending on the... More

The service at kamalaya is world class. You could come here for the stunning rooms (I had a suite overlooking the ocean) and divine food alone. But of course this place offers so much more. All health and well being activities were amazing and staff were so genuinely kind and accommodating. Very comfortable to be here on your own too.... More
