On the negative side: stayed for two nights in room 229 and it was so hot that we had real trouble sleeping even with the window open. 25 degrees in the room at least... Breakfast room was very crowded and a lot of small kids everywhere, it would have been nice to be able to sit just a little bit... More

I stayed at the hotel during the finishing days of offshore regatta, so the place was at its busiest & liveliest state. Perhaps, if it was off-season it would have been easier to excuse a really relaxed (to say the least) attitude of staff towards their duties. There were moments when I gave up waiting at the reception desk while... More

If you give in to the old-fashioned charms of this older hotel, it can be a pleasant, though expensive, experience. The location and building are supremely picturesque, situated on the harbor a short walk from the ferry landing, and painted in the traditional deep red with white trim. First hint: there are no cars on the island; slow down and... More

It is not easy to judge this hotel. I was there on a business trip and stayed for two days of meetings with the team. The facilities for that are outdated, wifi goes on and off but it definitely has its charm. The hotel has clearly had its best years. It is not very well maintained, the rooms are small... More

Stayed here in the off-season with my hubby (hoping to show off one of the nicer parts of my heritage). Also thought we'd get decent service as the place was dead. How wrong was I... Paid through the nose for a pokey room out the back overlooking the rubbish bins (nice!). Decided to have a couple of drinks before dinner... More

"skärgårdslördag" including dinner, 1 night stay and use of pools and spa. Very good food, nicely presented. The waitor was very alert and informative. We stayed at an appartment. Colour-choise was distinquished and light was used as decoration (spotlights). Nice bed and for once enough small bed room. You are in the bed room only to sleep so it is... More

The Sandhamn island is beautiful, with beaches, rocks, forest and a marina. Seglarhotellet is a rather big hotel for an island this size, and is explained by its history, being the headquarters for the Royal Swedish Sailing Society and located at a natural harbour that is very protected. The hotel has all amenities that could be expected for an upscale... More

Overpriced hotel. The spa was overcrowded and access to rooms was front 3pm. And checkout at 10am!! Breakfast was more like a youth hostel than a nice hotel.

Service: My husband and I really enjoyed staying at the Sandhamn Seglarhotell. The reception desk was extremely helpful with giving us info on boat schedules, and helped us with flight changes. We arrived early, and although our room wasn't ready, we were given access to all their amenities. Food: The service in the dining room was average (the maitre d'... More

Rooms: Great view, comfortable. No mini bar, stuffy. Spa and Swimming: One needed to pay for robes and also pay 10kr to place your clothes in a locker. Usually not common to walk with money there if you are going for a swim. Practical to just charge to your room. Spa wasnt ideal. Was super crowded and once the bubbles... More
