I've just got back from a 1 week business/leisure with my mother & I absolutely loved the hotel & would definitely be back again. The rooms are very clean & beds are extremely comfortable, the receptionists are very friendly & helpful talking English very fluently. The best is the location, the hotel is minutes walking to about everything in Stockholm... more

I have stay in Riddargatan during summer time with my family. We have stayed in a Junior Suite which was not so big but very nice. The hotel I can say is modern, the staff very polite and helpuful. The breakfast is very good . The area is perfect with little boutiques, cafes and the metro station is 3 minutes walk from the... more

The hotel reception desk is relatively small, but this is a small hotel, there are 5 floors to this hotel. I found the room to be surprisingly large. There's a DVD player and a collection of music CD's to play. The bathroom is an adequate size and a nice touch was there were a couple of sets of exercise weights.... more

Fantastic location, just behind the opera house. Close to T-Bahn, shopping district, gamla stan etc. Lovely area to stay in and is very convenient for getting to other parts of Stockholm. The receptionists were extremely helpful and very friendly - this made our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were small but provided everything you needed with very cool design... more

Excellent hotel in a handy and central location. Perfect base to go sightseeing, shopping etc. Really scrumptious breakfast, in a modern fully equipped hotel (am availing of free wireless as I write). Three girls shared a room and found it perfectly adequate. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lovely staff also, very helpful and polite. more

Stayed for 2 nights in June. Overall good experience. Pros: Compact and intimate. Rooms looked recently refurbished. Excellent matress and sleep. Free wi-fi. Desk service was very good and responsive. Breakfast was just right, healthy and fresh. Location is superb, with close access to the trains, very short walking distance to the waterside, and city center, and an abundance of... more

I'll make a short one; - great location, in the middle of Östermalm - nice lobby area, friendly welcome - great room, spacious, equipped with workout video and weights, flatscreen tv, a very delicate bathroom and a perfect balcony. - the sushi store right across the street is great! - the breakfast/fireplaceroom/library is very cosy, have a glass of wine... more

Our family stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. Our daughters were happy with the roll out couch and cot and we loved the large, clean bedroom. Very lovely touches in the living room area (where the children slept), beautiful Swedish bookcase and lots of books about Swedish design under the glass topped desk. The room was very quiet. The... more

I stayed at this hotel in January of 2007. I was in Stockholm for work, and the hotel was chosen by work colleagues, so I do not have the benefit of knowing how the prices compared to other hotels in the city. I was extremely happy with the choice of Hotel Riddargatan. The location is excellent. I was able to... more

Stayed there on a tour. Location is outstanding. Room was ok, though it had a funky smell from the drains. The reimbursed half the rate because of that. Impossible to reach with busses/trucks.Staff was nice and helpfull. Breakfast ok. more
