I stayed at Hotel Riddargatan for about 1 week. Great staff, very professional and efficient. The location is amazing, walking distance from the subway station and right at the centre of the city. Lots of good restaurants nearby and if you are looking to move around the city, this is a great location. I found the room to be a... More

We would have appreciated a more detailed explanation of how to get there from Central Station (not as easy on the metro as suggested). A flight of steps up to Reception and more to lift.Welcomed efficiently by staff. We had problems with very loud noise from street on first night. They changed our room to a courtyard facing view (much... More

The receptonists gave the impression of being experienced and polite. When we arrived at the hotel at 11:45, the rooms were already ready for us, something we appreciated a lot. One issue to remember is that the main entrance from the street has a staircase up to the reception, and for people in a wheel chair or similiar that staircase... More

Perfect location to visit Stockholm, a few meters walk from subway, tram stops, commercial streets and hold town. We booked a standard room, room size was correct, we had no view, except for the roof of another building, bathroom in needs of renovation. Public spaces are nice. The breakfast room is nice and the fireplace makes it warm and welcoming..... More

Loved this hotel! The staff are friendly and there was a selection of fruit, teas and coffees during each day. The breakfast was wide ranging and certainly ample enough. The room was good, we especially appreciated the fridge.

just a few minutes walk from the t.Bana, the hotel doors opened for us and the receptionist welcomed us for our 5 night stay. Our room was a superior, overlooked the inner courtyard. We had booked a city view, so were told we could move rooms the next morning. The bed was so comfy we overslept and missed breakfast. The... More

The hotel is conveniently located in a good area of the city, and is convenient to attractions in Gamla Stan and Djurgarden. Yes, there is a shortcut to Djurgarden if you take Riddargatan straight till the end and swing over to the bridge that crosses to Djurgarden. This is a small hotel, and while it doesn't have all the glamour... More

The hotel is in a quiet area and an easy walk to the subway, numerous shops and restaurants and to many of the tourist areas. The breakfast buffet is great and had plenty of options. The rooms are clean and adequate. I would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed in a range of hotel types, from yurt to luxury, but I have never, ever, had such a bad experience as Hotel Riddargatan. I had planned a short stay in Stockholm and was looking for a nice, centrally located hotel. That’s how I made the mistake to book this hotel. Apart its location, everything else is completely... Dear Antigone, First of all I’m very sorry that you feel that you had a bad experience with us. It’s true that we were subjected to an overbooking for the room category that you had booked, this due to a technical problem in our reservation system. We did our best to try to solve the problem, but we failed to... More

The location of Hotel Riddargatan is absolutely perfect. Walking distance from great shopping and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is highly recommended. Pros: Perfect location, excellent breakfasts. Cons: Building in road just outside our room. Very noisy. They did not refresh the coffee, milk, sugar and water in our room daily, we had to ask...
