A 400 years old building, conveniently located in the Old Town. Very close to the Royal Palace. A very small hotel with about 7 rooms. No lift. Narrow stairs. Not good if you have heavy luggage, particularly if your room is on the 3rd or 4th floors. No reception after 5 or 6 pm. more

Stayed here for four nights with two young children, two strollers and lots of baggage. This B&B is in a fabulous location -- right in the middle of Gamla Stan, one of my favorite places on earth. Staying here is like staying medieval Stockholm. It's a very old building (1607) with sloping floors and a tiny spiral staircase. It will not work for the disabled or elderly. But if you are fit, it is awesome.... more
