Quick visit in Stockholm. The other places near centre started from 170€. This was 100. Deal. The whole Östermalm area seemed to be like straight from some apocalyptic movie. It was 9:30pm at saturday night at there was no one around! The hotel is owned by salvation army so there's no bar. You couldn't get any food and even the... More

Close to the city center and to a subway stop, great breakfast, the internet is included and works well, will stay here again. We were upgraded to a room with a nice window in the front, it was European sized, but sufficient for our needs, no AC, again typical for the area, nice window.

Upon arrival we were given a free room upgrade because they had overbooked. The room was a good size and the bathroom was outstanding. Wifi worked very well and breakfast was also very adequate with a lot of choices. Only thing I was annoyed at was they had stopped the evening meal some time before we stayed, they could have... What was great about this hotel was the meal included in the price. There was always a hot meal, with fresh breads and salad. Also, cake of some description for desert. Sometimes the hot meal was a little odd for example pancakes, lingonberry jam and cream, with bread and cake but it filled a hole, especially with the prices being... More

Where do I start, the twin room was about 7ft wide by 13ft, no wardrobes, no drawers (stuck down because of lack of room it was explained). We couldnt open the window, in 30degrees heat because the bed was directly under. Dilapidated, dated, and minute. The first morning at breakfast you couldnt move for bodies, no tables cleared, nowhere to... More

Located in one of Stockholm's best neighborhoods. Very good value for money, considering how expensive Stockholm is. Metro and buses nearby. Also, Red Hop-on-hop-off Karlaplan bus stop is close to the hotel. Near some parks too. Nice breakfast. Rooms were clean. Adequate storage room available after check-out. Wi-fi and mobile connection not very good in our room, but maybe it... More

I suppose really nice hotels have their own unique feeling, as opposed to the universal Hilton, and this hotel has a little of that: I understand it is owned by the Salvation army, and certainly the rooms have a slightly barracksy feel. Still the hotel has a bit of its own charm, nice facade, nice courtyard (which you can see,... More

The hotel is awarded 4 star but did not feel like 4 star at all. Inside is an open planned reception and dining area which felt dark and outdated with its furniture. Walking towards our room, the furnishing of the actual building felt really old and in need of modernisation. Me and my dad upgraded to a double room which... More

We got very small rooms in the cellar. I was lucky enough to get a room with a window - my colleague was not... It's amazing how it is even possible to have a windowless hotel room in a "civilized" country. And the rooms were not cheap, around 115 eur... which was a special price negotiated by our travel agency.... More
