That Ett Hem is the most beautiful hotel you will ever stay in is not in doubt. Those Carpe Diem beds are SUPER comfy. The service is discreet and charming, the hotel is well placed in a smart part of town, with the kitchen at the centre of the house the food is really very good, the afternoon cake a... More

This is one of the best hotel experiences we have had in all of our travels. The "home" is beautifully decorated, quiet and cozy, comfortably sophisticated. We stayed for 3 nights in June 2015. We were blessed with great weather and very much enjoyed walking from this quiet neighborhood, past the church and through the park to the center every... More

Ett Hem embodies its name: you are "at home" when you are a guest in this extremely beautiful and extraordinarily hospitable establishment. The twelve spacious rooms are contained in a magnificent 1910 town house located in the embassy section of Stockholm. The present owner meticulously renovated the property about four years ago and filled it with antiques and artworks of... More

A luxurious night away in our own home town. God's in the details here, they all bring together just the right ambiance of relaxed elegance. A kind of home from days gone by, yet fashionable 2015. The welcome is friendly and personal, at times somewhat private. Stay in, eat the recommended dinner with the house's selection of wines, it's pampering.... More

This place is magical -- everything you could ever want in a hotel and more. We only stayed a night but wish we could have stayed a week. The design is stunning, the service impeccable, the food incredible, and the details top notch. It's true what they say about feeling like you're staying in someone's home. Our room wasn't ready... Ett Hem is a special place that you must try in Stockholm. It is a charming early 20th century townhouse. The staff makes you feel like you are one of the family. There are dining tables in the kitchen, dining room, atrium and the garden. We had a lovely dinner of beef and fish with fresh vegetables from their garden.... More

I stayed two nights at Ett Hem while in Stockholm a week ago. It was a superb experience in every way. The hotel is a feast for the eyes with its attention to detail and contemporary aesthetic. It is situated in a wonderful neighbourhood. I liked the small number of rooms and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Service is superlative and staff... More

Staying here is a real experience - the architecture, interior design (ilse Crawford) furnishings, very personal service and the details - right down to the Kiehls skin care products in the bathroom and the food! A total experience ... But not for the 'international hotel' crowd - this is like staying at a friends beautiful home....

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in - truly fabulous - chic and stylish down to every last detail. Extremely comfortable beds, stunning bathrooms, full size Kiehl's toiletries in the bathrooms. Yet still pleasant and welcoming staff, really friendly with lots of local knowledge. Amazing food too - we ate here on our last of 3 nights in... More

This is a small “boutique” hotel with only 12 rooms. “Ett Hem” translates as “At Home” and is intended to resemble a stay at a friend’s house. The staff members are universally friendly and helpful, but not always evident. It took us some time to come to terms with the hotel’s quirky and unstructured nature. When we arrived it took...
