Hi. we were on a eastern holiday inStockholm. The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was designed very taestfully. Sort walkind distance to a lot of places. Breakfast was good and the personel was helpful. The room wasn't the biggest but one of the best one´s we have slept in. more

For us this hotel was properly located; just 15 minutes walk from the Central Bus Station, 10 minutes from the main shopping street, then a short walk to Gamla Stan Island, and the same for Sodermalm. Build in an old 1866 stone building this hotel really has a character with arches, stone stairs, and brick walls. It's also nicely decorated. Unfortunately my room was so small it was difficult to turn the suitcase around. Breakfast was modest, at least by Scandinavian standards. Location a little too remote. This is a great hotel. Well designed, clean and comfortable. Beds are all a matter of taste because we found them SO comfortable! The Rex Hotel is extremely stylish, the staff are really helpful and friendly and overall this is a great value hotel in what can be an expensive city. The rooms are not overly large, but are very well designed and have everything you need. IThe breakfast is fairly standard, cereal, breads, cheese, jams, meats and eggs. We found the Rex a very quiet hotel with an excellent, central location. Yes, our room was compact but it was very clean and had a nice bathroom. If you wanted to spend a considerable amount of time in your hotel then maybe it might be a bit too functional but if, like us, you wanted a nice hotel base... more
