Booked this on a last minute as I needed something for just one night. The person at the reception was very friendly, and I felt welcome from the beginning. The room was basic but it was a great quality for the very affordable price I paid. The room and all the common areas were clean. The breakfast was also included... More

It's a really nice and cosy hostel! It's very practical: only 2 stops from the station "T-centralen" (where the buses and the arlanda express arrives from the airport). During our stay we could visit everything on foot because it's not very far from all the things to see (for example 20 minutes from gamla stan). The boss (or receptionist?) Josef... More

I stayed here for a short term study abroad and ended up with bed bugs in my room! They moved us to a new room but I was so creeped out by the bites and fear of bringing them home. A nice trip turned bad due to some poor rooms. PS I was told they were not bed bugs and... More

I caught a taxi there because I didn't know and was too tired to bother trying to use public transport, but in hindsight it would have been super easy as there's a station literally across the street and one door across. The no shoes inside rule helps keep everything clean, especially when it rains. The bathrooms have changing areas outside... More

Best part about this place is the location... close to the city center... very easy to reach by subway - take the green line and get down at Rådmansgatan and its right there. Lots of eating places and convenience stores in the vicinity. It is in the basement and you have to take out your shoes before entering. The place... More

I stayed in this hostel for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All safety lockers were occupied so they kept my computer for me while I went out. The common area was large and comfortable. I stayed in a room for 4 women. The only thing bothering me was that there were no windows in the room... More

It´s very easy to get there, you take the subway (the green line), your stop: rådmansgatan, you will find the hostel right there. The locations is perfect, not only when it comes to the subway station but also a lot of restaurants and boutiques on sveagatan street. The reception is not open the whole day, you just have to let... More

Very clean and wonderfully situated with an excellent breakfast. The subway is right on the corner or it is a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. Tremendous value. It isn't a hotel, mind you, but it's certainly a step above youth hostel; there are people of all ages staying there.

stayed in Stockholm just one night and the hostel had an envelope right for me at reception as I checked in very late. everything was ok, breakfast great for being a hostel. The only thing is maybe the lack of windows which makes compulsory a quite noisy fan in the rooms. I would reccomend this hostel if you stay in... More

Location: Great, close to the tube --> 2 Stations to Central Station, but you can also walk in 10,15 Min. to Midtown, supermarket, cinema, Irish Pub in the nearest neighbourhood. Accomodation: First night spent in a 6 qm-room with my mate: INHUMAN!! No windows (as in the whole hostel) because the hostel is downstairs. Luckily it was possible to move... More

Staying in Vasastan

Neighborhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
