I was very impressed by the grand, it has a nice location overlooking numerous islands and a marina, and impresses upon entry with old european charm. Expected more but rooms were small but acceptable. No heat or air in rooms. Tried to get a massage but no one was around. Good breakfast every morning. more
The building is beautiful in every sense of the word and the reception is good. I was staying in a single room. Even though in Stockholm on Business I found this hotel a great place to stay. The train stop with regular service just 1 min from the hotel and 30 minutes into Stockholm. The staff in general could give a better service, for example cleaning up the used plates tables in the restaurant, it depended on who was on duty, so... more
