We went with my family to stay here two nights. We got two rooms. My parents room was ok and quite big but the room me and my sister got was terrible. Trash left in the trashcan, dust all over the place. Also the toilet and shower smelled really bad. I got angry and complained and fortunately they gave us... more

Our room was small, but not a problem since we spent very little time in the room. The breakfast was fine - a typical Scandinavian breakfast with a good selection. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Location was great, just a few blocks from the airport bus stop and near public transit. Using the wonderful, functioning antique elevator was... more

Enough large 4 places room plus additional baby cot. Good location. Nice view at the Gustav Vasa church. Despite these fiew advantages, there was noisy from the street, not clean, old and broken shower equipments, very bad smell in the bathroom. Some of furniture in the room was broken. Insufficient number of places and no warm meal during breakfast. Very... more

I stayed at the Gustav Vasa with my Mother and what would have been a decent experience was ruined when her suitcase was stolen from our hotel room. Our room was on the ground floor and faced a secured courtyard with no outside access. My Mother awoke in the middle of the night and cracked the window for air which... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend in October 2003. I reserved the room through the hotel's website (we got a confirmation by email) and called them 2 times beforehand just to make sure that everything is alright because we were arriving Friday late afternoon, to which I was assured that our room will be ready and waiting,... more

This hotel must have changed hands since the early reviews. It is now a dump. We checked in, April 06, to find an unheated room cluttered with poor quality furniture, and a view of a rusty bike at eye level through the window. We asked for the heating to be put on, we were ignored. When we tried to get... more

Shabby and dingy are the two words which come to mind when describing our recent experience with this hotel. The room was small; and the bathroom, the smallest I've ever seen. The breakfast offered good variety, but the quality was not high. An important reason for us choosing this hotel was that they offered parking; but when we arrived, we... more

We stayed for two nights at this conveniently located Hotel and we were not impressed. We didn't get the double room as booked, but a twin on the third floor. This turned out to be the smaller half of a former large room. It was wide enough for two beds and a little bedside table inbetween. The bathroom was as... more

A wonderful hotel, located only 50m from the underground train network. Walking distance to lots of sites but if you want to preserve your energy then the train is a simple option to get straight to the action. The staff were amazing, helping us with maps and information, and giving suggestions for activities and meals out. Beautiful and old, our... more
