The room was cozy with tall windows and clean bed. Shared bathroom wasn't a problem because there was two to use and they were tidy. Good breakfeast too. Considered the price, this place was great value.

Very good location (close to the metro station), interesting price, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very spacious, breakfast is good. Clean shared bathroom. We had a very nice stay at Pensionat Odengatan. Will recommend it.

These days I'm traveling on a budget, and, honestly, why not? Instead of fretting about the shortcomings of 4+* hotels, or 4* accommodation that must have bribed their way to that recognition I go back to the honest, simple family run places. Stockholm is expensive, AirBnB can be unreliable since private hosts don't always keep their agendas up-to-date. But there... More

For this price in Stockholm, you can't even get a room with windows! The rooms are very spacious, quiet and clean. Although the bathroom was shared, it was very clean. Very good location, close to the metro station and many supermarkets and restaurants.

Peter and his colleague were extremely helpful and gracious during our four days here. Our "large double room" was spacious and quiet, equipped with large, comfy beds (two singles put together), a pleasant faux-antique desk, breakfast cart, two armchairs and a little fridge. Breakfast (a buffet from Friday to Sunday) consisted of lovely whole-grain rolls, cold cuts, cheese, fruit and... More

Staying in Vasastan

Neighborhood Profile
Vasastan
Vasastan is one of those neighborhoods that almost looks too good to be true. It has the winning combination of a central location, tranquility, and beautiful buildings – housing sophisticated bars and eateries – that makes this neighborhood Stockholm’s most sought-after place to live. If walking through this area makes you feel like walking through a fairy tale or picture book it’s no surprise, as it’s actually the film set of the famous Swedish children story Karlsson-on-the-Roof. No matter what season, Vasastan manages to impress in the sunshine, covered in snow and won’t even lose its charm when soaked in rain.
