I stayed 2 nights at Maudes with my mum back in April when we went to see Tina Turner at The Globe. All the hotels in Stockholm centre were extremely expensive and I found Maudes just by chance. It was really good value for money compared to central Stockholm and we saved approx 200GBP /2000:- and the train only cost... more

We stayed in Maude`s hotel for two nights and were very impressed!!! It is only 15 minutes by underground from the city center (Central Station / airport connection) and very easy to find. I selected this hotel thru Destination Stockholm a la carte which supposedly offer discounts on hotels and I was having trouble finding a hotel for Monday night of my trip. Maudes Hotel is a new, small non-smoking 3 star hotel located 14 min. south of Stockholm City center and 5 mins from the Stockholm Fair and Globen. Very cosy, homelike atmosphere and very friendly service. Nice, very clean scandinavian rooms. Moderate in size.
