Omena is one of few relatively cheap hotels in Stockholm - unfortunately. There is a lot of hassle with the hotel though: There is no reception or staff and no room keys. Instead, guests are supposed to receive a code for the doors and the room, but many guests, like ourselves, don't get the code before arrival. Therefor, the beginning... More

Once you accept the fact that there is no reception, the hotel is all you need for a weekend. The rooms are spacious, light and clean. Great value for money in an expensive city. TIP make sure you bring all the booking docs with you, since the code to open the doors (all of them) is stated there.

It was a pleasant experience to check in to a hotel without a reception. As promised, the door code and room number was received by email 24 hours prior and by SMS 7 hours prior. It all worked very well. The hotel is located about 10min away from the central station. Very convenient location for sightseeing, restaurants, public transport.... The... More

Is a different concept of Hotel. No receptions, all doors automatic with code. Near to the Gamlan Stam and near to de Central Station. Very good option to visiti Stockholm, good place, cheap, and good rooms.

Close to town center. Clean an comfy. A good choice for any budget traveller. The price was for the 3 of us approx. 50-60% of any other choice at the same level. Would clearly recommend this to any other. Will probably stay here again.

Nice stay and a very good choice if you don't ned any kind of service like reception, housekeeping or anything like this. I had a room on eigth floor, very calm, good size, only the bathroom is a bit small

Even though I first doubted the concept of no reception with only a PIN code sent by email, it has proven to be perfectly working. We spent three nights here and it was really pleasant. The room was quiet, included a fridge. It was rather small and there was no wardrobe, but that’s what we counted with. It is close... More

Firstly, note that booking in advance makes your stay really cheap here. On the other hand, the hotel offers everything you need, if you are not going to stay in your hotel room for days long. Very good value for the price, nice and silent neighborhood (despite its in the city center) and a great point to get everywhere in... More

This is a very nice hotel in downtown Stockholm. The no person for check-in was a novel concept for us being from the States, but everything worked well. The morning of our stay the door code was emailed & texted to me & when we arrived everything worked well. The elevator is handy just inside the lobby area. Our room... More
