Dawid has gone out of his way to help me and I haven't even arrived yet. I was booked in twice for ine stay. It's scary to think you'll be charged twice for a silly error. Thanks for your understanding and outstanding service!

1. It looks delighful! Having seen many photos we were still taken by the surprise of how delighful it looked on the river! 2. Great location. Large supermarket, shopping center, metro - all within a few minutes walk. Two stops on the metro takes you into town center. 3. The room was surprisingly spacious. Really spacious! The place was very... More

This hotel is at great place to stay because it's charming and cozy. We stayed in the big room in the front cabin, and it is a very nice room with a big bed and a nice bathroom. The ship itself is very well-maintained and beautiful and the rooms are clean and warm. The breakfast is served in the dinningroom... More

MS Monika is a beautifully restored old boat (100+ years old - built in 1908) that is permanently docked on a river in central Stockholm. If you take the metro to St Eriksplan station, it's just 5min walk away towards the closest bridge and you are there. We stayed in the only double room at this boutique hotel. It's located... More

I always want to try staying in a sailing boat and after the cruise in Stockholm as they usually stay in the boat when it's summer, it is convinced me that it will be an in forgettable experience for me. The price is not that cheap but worthy. If you booked this hotel, need to be aware your email. They... More

Would definitely stay here again :). Two downsides: Check in and WiFi. Nobody was there on arrival. I had to call a number to get codes to get onboard and into the room - Just email them ahead of your stay to ask for these if they haven't already sent them. WiFi has very poor range. I stayed in the... More

What a wonderful B & B. Sussi was wonderful and so helpful. Breakfast was delightful and delicious. The room was big enough for us and rwo adult children. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend M/S Monika.

I stayed on the M/S Monika because all of the hotels in the city center were completely booked or profoundly expensive. It ended up being the highlight of my trip. I did not spend much time in the actual room, basically just to sleep. I had the front cabin which comes with a private bathroom. The room and the bathroom... More

We stayed for 2 nights in the boat. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast were impressive. The free coffee is also a plus. The hotel is near the metro station, we can easily get any where in the city. We also enjoy the time when walking along the riverside nearby :)

Staying in Kungsholmen

Neighborhood Profile
Kungsholmen
Kungsholmen is one of the largest islands in central Stockholm and one of the most popular places to live. Its most famous attraction is Stockholm’s City Hall, which stands out with its monumental architecture and is one of the most photographed buildings in Sweden. Kungsholmen has its own little city center and shopping mall, its own beach and a lovely pedestrian area next to the water, which charms both locals and visitors with beautiful little cafés, restaurants and of course an awesome view. This neighborhood is perfect for a relaxed stroll followed by some coffee on a Sunday afternoon.
