The Hotell Haga is a 7 minute subway ride from the Central Station in Stockholm, then a 10 minute walk. Not too bad. It costs 80KR for two to get a round trip ticket from the station as well.
The best thing about Hotell Haga is the staff. They are very accomodating, friendly, and helpful. We don't recall the name of the girl who helped us, but she had long brown hair and very beautiful eyes. We came in early in the morning to check in after a terrible flight from Oslo. She russled up a room for us in about 40 minutes, let us enjoy the breakroom in the meantime. She was extremely helpful, recommending great restaurants and guiding us around the city in very clear directions. She was just great.
The rooms at the Haga are decent. But for an American traveling in the "off season" which is the opposite of inexpensive apparently, you don't get much for your money. We paid 150 dollars for the smallest room I've ever seen.
The breakfast is outstanding...
