The hotel is close to the metro station, supermarkets, cafes and fast food chains. Central station only two stops from Fridhemsplan station (blue line). Ideal for sightseeing because the whole city is good accessible. The room was clean and spacious. I didn't like bed because was too soft. Decoration was two beautiful photos of Stockholm. Staff was helpful and friendly.... More

The hotel is situated across 3 or 4 floors within an office block which is a bit strange. It also shares access and a lift with the rest of said office block. The room itself was ok, clean and comfortable but not luxurious in anyway. What is disconcerting is that the shower is in the lobby between your room front... More

The hotel was conveniently located; metro and buses to the city center were right outside of the hotel. Also, you could walk, and it would take about 20-25 minutes. The room was small, and the beds were very uncomfortable. We stayed two nights, and they did not change the sheets or make up the beds. I agree with other breakfast... More

Before my hubby booked it he let me take a look and I was like "Yeah, this look nice". When we firts opened the door to our room, we felt like we got lost end by ended in low-end hostel by mistake. It was that bad. There is no room for shower, only shower corner in the corridor with no... More

We stayed in Hotel Aldoria for 2 nights. Hotels in Stockholm is expensive, so for what we paid for we didn't expect to be blown away. PROS: Staff: They were friendly, helpful and offered tips when visiting Stockholm. Room: We requested (and granted) to not be street facing as we're light sleepers. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable... More

a wannabe hotel with no proper reception or breakfast facilities. spend another 100 SEK and get a proper room elsewhere. the bed was SO SOFT i felt embraced; (family suit) shower in literarily in the room, not in a shower room but in the living room with no space to undress; and no proper reception.

Service: The reception opening hours are limited and therefor check-in on weekends may be a bit of a hastle. You get a key to the fron door so you can come and go when you like. Breakfast is served at a local resturant in the shopping mall..... don't be late.... there might not be any breakfast left!! Storage: extra luggage... More

Hotels in Stockholm are expensive; so this one for its price I would say it is average quality. Location is good. Breakfast is eatable although compared to other Baltic countries' hotels not as good but for sure better than continental breakfasts of similar range hotels of US. Bed was too soft for our back. No bathroom stuff other than soap... More

The Hotel Aldoria is only slightly better than a hostel. The rooms are shabby and the services non-existent. Hotel staff cannot be bothered to stay past 5:00pm on weekends and not much later on weekdays. My flight arrived at 5pm and by the time I made it to the hotel via Arlanda Express the checkin desk was closed. Had a... More

I was in Stockholm for work and this did not meet our specifications- no food available, no 24 hr reception, lights were broken in hall so couldn't see to get into my room. Bloke in grey hoody ( receptionist) had to bang on lights to get to work. Room small but appeared to be clean. Have no idea re. location... More

Staying in Kungsholmen

Neighborhood Profile
Kungsholmen
Kungsholmen is one of the largest islands in central Stockholm and one of the most popular places to live. Its most famous attraction is Stockholm’s City Hall, which stands out with its monumental architecture and is one of the most photographed buildings in Sweden. Kungsholmen has its own little city center and shopping mall, its own beach and a lovely pedestrian area next to the water, which charms both locals and visitors with beautiful little cafés, restaurants and of course an awesome view. This neighborhood is perfect for a relaxed stroll followed by some coffee on a Sunday afternoon.
