Pretty views of the river and old town from the ship windows and cosy common room. Hostel rooms small but comfortable and good value. Warm even in mid-January. Within easy walking distance of all the main attractions.

Staying on a boat is exciting no matter what, but put with the amazing view this one has of the old town plus the five minute walk to the main sites and you couldn't ask for more. The staff are excellent, they can help with everything from bus details to where to buy salted butter or blue cheese. The restaurant... More

The rooms are simple but modern and warm. The walls are quite thin but we slept well. We were given free breakfast as the main ship was being renovated, so that was a bonus. The down side of this was that the reception had been temporarily been situated in the kitchen area of the boat. The bathrooms were usually busy... More

The hotel is an old ship with great outside and inside areas. The room are small but comfortable, staff very helpful and polite. The view of the deck is a thing, I saw the sunset over there and it was amazing! I good experience instead of a regular hostel.

I have visited Sweden several times and I have always been very pleased with the hospitality, friendliness and the sense of freedom and security in this beautiful country. I could have never imagined that I will be robbed in a hotel in a heart of Stockholm as my tablet PC got stolen from the reception desk counter!? The hotel has... More

Stayed here for 3 days and I had a very pleasant experience. The cabin room was modestly furnished, as you would expect, given that it is a hostel + you are lodging on a boat. At the same time it felt cozy and it was cleaned every day. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The atmosphere was relaxed and... More

We stayed there three nights and enjoyed it a lot. Of course the room was quite small but that's a little bit what we were looking for; we wanted to try something different and did not regret it. The price was reasonable. We has a room for two on the upper deck, above the restaurant, so it was very quiet... More

We had a wonderful stay at rygerfjord during July 2014. The staff was very pleasant and eager to assist in any way they could. The price point was very nice considering Stockholm is very expensive. The rooms are very small but that is really all you need when you are out exploring all day. (If you are the type that... More

I spent 2 weeks on the boat a few years back and had no problems. Yes it is small and you do feel the boat rock, but I get seasick and had no issues. However it did start to feel like the land was moving when off the boat. I really like the breakfast, it has food that americans would... More
