This hostel is a fantastic option to stay downtown Stockholm without the pricetag usually found at traditional hotels in a European city. The shared (free) kitchen (fully accessorized with reserved fridge space on request) is an excellent eating option and the other shared areas (lounge, play area, email station, coffee room) are clean, cozy and quiet. The rooms are a... More

We chose this hotel/hostel as it was the closest to the activity/place were we spent the evening. The room for three people was really cramped, shabby and quite dirty and the bathroom was just too tiny. The soap/shampoo box was malfunctioning/broken. Our room was located at the street level. When we wanted some tea, we had to ask the reception... More

Great place tucked away behind the main streets - only a 6-7 minute walk or so from the main Stockholm metro stations. We stayed in groups of 4 (bunk beds), and it turned out to be a good arrangement. Breakfast was an extra SEK 90 and was also very good (continental) - so all in all a pleasant weekend stay

This hotel is located in quiet area hidden behind the residential flats. Clean room with minimalistic design and tiny bed. Very good breakfast , great and helpful staff and facilities. The reception is the same for both hostel and hotel guests which seems a bit confusing at the first time however the reception staff members are very helpful and accommodating.

A little haven in the middle of the city, betwwen a park, a sports stadium, an alottment area and houses. Five minutes walk to the tube, easy to park, easy to find your way around and easy to get to. Nice little room - my dorm had only four beds and I was alone in it. Good, rich breakfast, even though... More

I am staying there for a short business trip. Rooms are clean but very small, breakfast is very modest with limited options. The hotel itself is a beautiful building and relatively central. It's on budget otherwise it's not comfortable or interesting.

The hostel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, at the edge of a nice park. To visit the center you need a short ride with the metro (2 metrostations within a 10 minutes walking distance). Day / Multi-day passes for public transport can be bought at the hostel reception desk. Also possibility to hire bicycles from the hostel. Like in... More

This is a nice budget hostel in Stockholm. It's a little far from the Stockholm Central but the area in which it is located is really good. It is located between 2 metro stations, Zinkersdamm & Hornstull & its in front of a big beautiful park. The facilities of hostel are good. Kitchen is spacious & has all the essential... More

I slept at the hostel for 3 nights with two friends, we had a room with two bunk-beds. I wouldn't like to sleep in the upper bed, because the bunk-bed almost fell down when I was supposed to climb up through the stair! The bunk-beds was so light and not attached to the floor/wall, so they wasn't so stable. However,... More

Located an easy walk from the metro station this hostel offers good value for money in Stockholm in a quiet area. We (4 friends) stayed in a 4 person private room with shared facilities - this are pretty clean. The breakfast is basic but good. And for drinks they offer a bar. (The rent of sheets is expensive, so bring... More

Staying in Hornstull & Langholmen

Neighborhood Profile
Hornstull & Langholmen
If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
