We stayed in a family room for a 2 night stay in Stockholm. The location of the hotel, on the edge of Söderdalm, is ideal, with all major attractions easily walkable. Hotel staff were very friendly and the room was rather comfortable, although slightly stuff. The breakfast was distinctly mediocre. Most surprising of all during our stay in the hotel... More

After rereading the various reviews, they all have an element of truth. You have to decide what kind of traveler you are. I traveled with my husband and two grown children. We had a "suite" of two bedrooms with one double bed and two twins. There was a small sitting room with a little couch which fit 3 of us... More

Nice hotel with small but very cosy rooms, complete with creaking floor and leaking old windows with the wind blowing into the room a bit. However, no problem with the temperature in the room, the radiators are hot enough to compensate. Old and smallish "fat-TV" in the room, but never use the TV anyway, so didn't bother me. Convenient location... More

Modern hotel, in a very old building totally refurbished ..... maybe now it's a little bit to extreme the way that they provided a modern look, location is perfect but globally it's not a glory. Room were really small and BTW a little bit too cold, shower ok but just average .... breakfast is just not to start the day... More

We had five nights in a twin bedroom without ensuite and coped surprisingly well. The shared bathrooms were spotlessly clean and as like other reviewers, we never met any other residents, (we always had use of a shower or toilet when wanted and with no-one else about). The bedroom was exceptionally clean and serviced each day. It overlooked the street... More

We have stayed this hotel several days, we found its location is really good to enable us can go to all light points very easily. But the double room in this hotel is so small and is very hot & no fresh air, the breakfast is so poor, and all the staff can not solve the problem to switch off... More

It was an amazing experience living in a hotel made centuries ago. The way the hotel has been preserved and the way they have given it a modern look combined with the ancient one is worth an applause. But because of the non availability of elevators and attached washrooms to the rooms ,it was a little tough but then again maybe... The hotel is very well centered in a great neighborhood nearthr old town and roght next to a subway stop. However, it can be noisy at night and hard to sleep with an open window. There is no A/C which is harsh in the summer ! the bathroom are very old school but not in a nice way. They seemed... More

Nice old hotel with a special atmosphere. Without a taxi not easy to fing the entrance in the alley. No elevators. About 54 steps from reseption to topfloor. About 87 steps from topfloor down again to breakfasttable so 87 again back to rom at topfloor. I was living at topfloor. So to stay there you have to be good trained.... More
