I stayed in this hostel 15 years ago when I first visited Stockholm and now decided to revisit it again! Nice location, close to a lot of interesting sites to visit. Near supermarkets. The price is the best you can get in Stockholm. Internet not available in the room. If you are only for the night and don't need the... More

Four of us stayed here for a couple nights in October. This was my first time in Europe and my first time in any sort of hostel. Definitely an experience. We shared a tiny room with two bunk beds on either side. We had a porthole for a window and the bathroom was shared by all the females on the... More

Consider something else if you're not travelling with a really shoe-string budget. As someone else aready wrote, there's a damp, mouldy smell downstairs where the hostel rooms are located. The boat is also moving a lot, more than I expected. I complained about my room being really cold (naturally, because the heat was not on), nothing happened before I was... More

This hostel gives you what you can expect for the price. The great plus is the friendly, cheerful and helpful staff and the bar that is on the boat. A minus for the room. It reeked of years of stale sweat and the mattress was so thin you could feel your bones when lying on your side. Also, the WiFi... More

At the last minute I was asked to go to Stockholm, one of the cheapest options was to stay at Gustav Af Klint Hostel. This is my first experience of staying in a hostel. It was acceptable, however in future I'd pay slightly more for a better quality hostel. Note that there are higher quality hostels in the areas. The... More

The rooms are small but hey, it's a botel (really a bostel). The boat does move a lot more than I expected. The smell of the cabin areas and the bathroom was terrible- like mold or throw up. The wifi is only in the common area but it barely works in there anyway. The rooms are a bit dirty but... More

The first thing that you smell when entering the boat is OIL. And of course also when going down to the cabin..the lady at the front desk said it would go away, but nothing..is this supposed to be normal?! The walls are thin and as the cabins are right underneath their restaurant, you obviously here when people walk around on... More

The boat is just oposit Gamla Stan, perfect location. Hostel is quiet. Bathroom always clean, cabins not a lot. The cabins are really small, but that is normal on a boat. It is the cheapest accomodation we found in the center.
