We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. Room on 5th floor, quietish, clean and tidy. Could have done with some blinds or net curtains as room is overlooked by flats across the road. Our room was under the Breakfast Room which became a bit noisy in the mornings. Breakfast was... more

Booked here after seeing good reviews on tripadvisor, and certainly, as Stockholm goes, excellent value for money, costing just short of 60GBP per night with buffet breakfast. Arriving from the Central Station via taxi (warning - always ask the taxi driver to put the meter on as we were ripped off being charged 15GPB for a journey of less than... more

Hotel was in a great location, a hop from the centre. The room was very 'ikea'-practical but nice and white. Windows could be opened. TV worked. Quite small closet but fine for short stay. Tiny shower room but well formed. Great views from bedroom. Cleanliness was perhaps 3.5 out of 5- not dirty but a bit of dust in nooks.... more

Discribed as Hotel Birger Jarl's sister hotel, Hotel Tegnerlunden is more like poor cousin. Rooms look great on website but hotel was a disappointment in reality - shabby reception, cheap and lumpy pillows, curtains that only covered 2 of the 3 windows (and no blindfold provided), crab omelette for breakfast (went to cafe round the corner the 2nd day), thin... more

We stayed at this hotel for2 nights in May and could'nt have made a better choice for the money. It was very reasonably priced considering it's central location. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk trom Centralstation and was very easy to find. It is located right next to a lovely little park on a quiet square. Our room... more

Nice hotel in a convenient position near bus and subway stop. Great breakfast buffet. The bathroom is a little bit small but the room is clean and the staff friendly. more

I stayed here for three nights towards the end of November with my wife and three adult children. We had next door rooms on the fourth floor with an extra bed in the room used by my three children. The rooms were comfortable with good quality beds (no double bed!), a reasonable quality TV and a good shower - no... more

We stayed here for four nights over a weekend in November. This is a small hotel in an excellent position. It's ten to 15 minutes walk from the station and is just around the corner from Drottningg the main street that takes you into the heart of the Old Town. The bedrooms were adequate and had a TV and Telephone,... more

Stayed in this hotel for two nights. The breakfast was also just decent. Nothing to rave about. Interestingly, there's a hotel micro downstairs catering for budget travellers, we took a look at the small cabin room with no attached bathroom, at 6oo+ sek a night, seemed like a good deal if you just wanted a place to crash. We stayed... more

As always you never know what to expect when you book a good deal on-line, however I was nicely surprised. We were allocated a newley refurbished room which overlooked a pretty little park. The hotel was nicley located 10 mins walk from both the bus station and the main centre. They described the breakfast that was included as light, however... more
