We stayed for a long weekend on a family break. This is a small hotel, the location is excellent if you want peace and quiet, yet convenient for the metro and an easy 15 minute walking to the main attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast.

The title says it all really.. myself and my partner choose this hotel as it seemed very central- which it was! It is close to the main shopping area, the old town and a metro station. The staff were excellent and so helpful helping us order taxis to the airport etc nothing was too much hassle. The hotel is very... More

I have just arrived home from a short break with my friend, staying at Hotel Tegnerlunden. The hotel is in a lovely quiet location just around the corner from Drottninggatan (the main shopping street), it's also very easy to walk straight down into the old town or a five minute walk to the metro station which is handy. Our room... More

I booked this hotel for one night stay in Stockholm because of the gym. It turned out to be extremely tiny. Although I was alone there during both morning and evening sessions so the size of it didn't bother me much. The gym has everything you need for a short stay-in-shape workout during the vacation: treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical trainer,... More

Recently stayed at Hotel Tegnerlungen (June) and was more than happy with the choice. Great location, easy walk to Gamla Stan and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. There is also a metro station around 5 mins walk away. Hotel itself is functional and good value for money. The staff are also helpful and friendly.

I really liked the view over the park and the breakfast room on the top floor. The hotel is in walking distance of the city centre. The room and the breakfast were pretty standard for Stockholm: good but nothing special.

Hotelrooms in Stockholm don't come cheap, especially if you want to stay near the city center. Hotel Tegnerlunden was one of the cheapest places we could find with ensuite bathrooms and in walking distance of Gamla Stan and the train station. It's about a 15-20 minute walk through the main shopping street to get to the center, but there's also... More

First of all,the location of this Hotel is perfect! Right next to the central street and everything is a walk away but really quiet and next to a green park (the windows of our room overlooked the park). The staff was helpful, the breakfast was great with a great selection and fresh fruits. the room was clean and pretty. Great... More

The hotel was just close enough to the city centre but far enough out for it to be quiet and restful. All the facilities were well thought through. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was provided in a Swedish style. My wife enjoyed the fish at breakfast and baked egg and ham. I wished that the room had better drinks... More

We loved the hotel, It is near enough to the city centre to be convenient but tucked away in a beautiful, quiet square with park, away from major traffic or pedestrian routes. There are some excellent eating places nearby (including on the same square) and there is easy access to bus routes into the old town though this could be... More
