Scandic is one of Swedens largest hotel chains, and this is yet another nice hotel. I stayed in a chep, windowless, room but only used it to store my shopping and to sleep in. This hotel is as central/downtown as it gets. Outside on Hötorget there is a daily market, across the market is Konserthuset, where the Nobel prize ceremony... More

The location of this hotel is really great, and it's often reasonably well priced. Compared to the other Scandic hotel nearby (Scandic Klara) I found the staff here friendlier and more welcoming and the rooms were in much better condition (still showed some wear and tear though). However, the breakfast room was far too small - it was incredibly crowded... More

We liked the hotel for its great location. Our family room was quite small but we needed it only for sleeping. The breakfast was ok but early in the morning very crowded. The staff was always friendly.

Great location, very central. Walking distance to most attractions. The breakfast included was definitely a big plus! Very well done. A lot of choices of food to choose. Will recommend and stay again.

It is not easy to find hotel in Stockholm's center at good level while keeping European mainland prices. Scandic is good standards chain, with rich breakfast. This hotel is undergoing renovation and will be re-branded shortly into the newer hotel. I would definitely renew the bathrooms and mattresses (too soft). Note the "no-window" rooms - in Kungsgatan those have more... More

The best part of this hotel is the location - right in the city center, as well as very friendly staff. Breakfast was not continental but delicious and big enough (yogurt, bread, pastry etc). The hotel had very lively lobby, believe it or not, the nicest place to take pre-dinner-drinks is actually in the hotel. Rather strong hipster-mood, but if... More

The location is quite convenient, very central, close to the station...the hotel is functional but really lacking some appeal...breakfast very crowded and the buffet with hardly any pastery...finally the price tag is very high for what you get!..Will look for a Better place next time...

Somehow I had booked a CABIN....reminded me of a room for an 11 year old......a real SINGLE bed, and NO WINDOWS. Luckily I got in at midnight too tired to complain, but I would not recommend or stay there again....you have to be on a really low budget to book this place
