I have stayed at this hotel atleast 10 times. It´s well located, close to shopping and good restaurants. The staff is often friendly and when staying with children we got upgraded to a suit for no extra cost (this was in 2007). At the latest stay we got a room that felt a bit worn-out. The breakfast buffé is huge.... more

The location is very good and allows to walk almost anywhere worth seeing in Stockholm. The service at the reception was very good and the rooms are also good. The breakfast buffet is well furnished but the dimensions of the hotel makes the breakfeast room more like a cantine. more

Location is great, very central yet really quiet (for absolute calm, ask for a room to the atrium, away from the elevators). Breakfast is copious with vast choice but average quality of food (watery, tasteless scrambled eggs, cheap muesli and juices). The hotel is apparently run on a "low maintenance, high yield" basis (fair enough, they're in this business to... more

The location of the hotel is great, just about 5 mins from the train station (connection to Arlanda airport by Arlanda Express train). The Gamla Stan about 5 mins walk, T-bana (subway) just aboout 2 mins walk. The entrance heading to a small silent square (incredible, as the main jammed street is within a stone's cast). I had the economy... more

As many Scandic hotels, this hotel is a bit outdated, but has great location. The rooms are ok, decent size with a 1990s Scandinavian decor, and a large and well maintained bathroom. Everything was very clean. One thing that is unfortunate in Sweden compared to many other countries, is the (lack of) service attitude. The staff at the front desk... more

I have to agree with everybody else that the location of this hotel is its main attraction. While the area is not as pretty as the waterfront area it certainly is convenient! As soon as you walk out of the hotel you will find shops, restaurants, the train station and public transport. It's located a little way back from the... more

Although the hotel is old-fashioned, it is impeccably clean and everything works perfectly (including the plumbing and free wifi). This was one of those trips where you want a room for a late arrival close to the railway station and departure after breakfast. Everything seems to be from the early sixties but is well-maintained. If they keep it like this... more

we were pleasantly surprised about this hotel. It is just excellent! The service, the room and the location, in the middle of the center with all the shops right outside its doorstep. The hotels has free wireless internet in all the rooms and breakfast is included and marvellous. I was excited to see so many items in the breakfast buffet... more

The Sergel Plaza is a typical Scandic in a good location. It has an impressive lobby, but as I typically don't spend much time there, it was not decisive. Check-in was very courteous and fast; I liked the "minishop" at the reception were you can buy snacks and other things you might have forgotten. The first room I was given... more

Its location is prime, the price was even better 590 SEK a night during the peak season and there was Euro Gay Pride that weekend so just imagine chaos downtown. Clean place, rooms could have been more spacious, swedish table breakfast was great( included). Bikes available for daily use(free), and again nothing can beat the location-right in the heart of... more
