Probably one of the best locations in Stockholm. But rooms are dated. Reception is helpful but nothing to be impressed about. Breakfast is OK, what you expect at Scandic. Rooms are as I said dated but clean. Big plus was the air condition in our room. When we visited Stockholm it was over 30 degrees C in and it was... More

Yep! It's old and a little run down but a handy location. Room was OK. I think the negative reviews mostly came from Groupon users who paid less than the going rate and were relegated to rooms that have not been refurbished. I liked the buffet breakfast. Far more selection than anyone could want. Great coffee. Pretty flowers. I fount... More

Well, it's a big place, I guess not everything is under control. Yes is a great location, everything is at hand. Desk staff was good, efficient but maybe a bit a bit distant. My room wax simple but very clean (well , yes, it could be refurbished). There was a lot of people. none of them has ever learn to... More

We stayed here for five nights as part of an organised group, so had no choice in the matter. But it is hard to believe anyone would choose the place unless offered a very favourable deal. This must have been a decent mid range hotel 25/30 years ago and it now needs a complete refurb. The public areas are not... More

We loved our recent stay the at the Scandic. THere were some imperfections, but overall the perfect location trumped all. Pros: We were traveling with my mother whose knees are wearing down, so utilizing public transit as much as possible was essential. Just outside the front door is the metro (connected to Central Station), a convenient tram that runs to... More

The hotel is starting to look rundown. I stayed here three years ago and what a difference, The furniture had holes in them. The beds are old and you get a bad night's sleep. The hotel needs to be closed and refurbished or it will become a slum hotel. The location is very good but it does not make up... More

The hotel is centric, the people nice, to rooms are ok, the restaurant serves decent food. Then again there are many other hotels in Stockholm like this, at around the same price range. If need a place to sleep during a business trip, do consider this hotel, I am pretty sure you will leave without any glitches. If your aim... More

We were on a tour, total of 36. Good all-around. No amenities such as lotion, shower cap, soap bars (dispenser only), no safe in room though there is downstairs near the lobby, and faucets in the tub that require diagrams to explain how to turn the shower on. Why can't the faucets be simple? Location was very good in downtown... More

The location was excellent to say the least, rooms were large, comfortable and renovated, everything was perfectly functional. Very quiet, excellent ventilation and the hotel was really organized. Breakfast was a little poor compared to what I was used to. Front desk employees were acting very inappropriately, we talked to 4 people, 3 out of which were rude to say... More

Fantastic location, really good. The restaurant ok...as breakfast. But the rooms are outdated. Now it s really time to renovate an otherwise good hotel. Beds ok...furniture outdated, as bathroom.... really old.
