I've stayed at some very expensive hotels in Stockholm (most right in Gamla Stan) and they were beautiful. But, if you can't afford that but still want to enjoy Stockholm, then Sodermalm is an excellent place to be. Me and my partner stayed in the bungelows next to he pool, this place was excellent value for money. The rooms where cleaned every day. Food allot to choose from.
