We had waited until about two weeks before our trip to book a room in Stockholm which was a bad idea -- almost all of hotels were booked as there was a huge soccer game Saturday night. I found this hotel which had a room for Friday night (I tried to book via their website but it didn't seem secure,... more

Stayed there for one night, just transitting. when i came, there was no room available yet. turn out their check in time is 3pm. (i thot it's 12pm) so put my stuffs in lugage room. finally got my room, clean, small, as most european hotel is. the hotel provided some cookies, cake and tea/coffee in the common seating area, which... more

Central Hotel is literally across the street from the Arlanda Express station, and located conveniently near shopping and restaurants. The room was spacious by Scandinavian standards, modern and well-appointed. Windows open out onto an interior courtyard so there' s no view of the city but it's amazingly QUIET for a hotel in the middle of Stockholm! We were surprised by... more

Walking distance (with luggage) to the Arlanda express train station. It is built in a quadrangle so none of the rooms face a main road – you couldn’t have a quieter city centre hotel room. Very average breakfast. more

My wife and I stayed here 3-7 May 2007. We paid about £85 per night. The hotel is well situated near to the central train and bus stations coming from Arlanda airport. Despite this it is very quiet as all the rooms are built "out the back", away from the main street. The room itself (323) was clean and modern... more

The location of this hotel was really fantastic. Its location is unbeatable. It is two blocks from the Arlanda Express depot and a 10 minute walk to Gamla Stan and the City House. A few more minutes and one is at the National Museum or the Museums housing Eastern Art or Modern Art. The hotel itself was really nice. While... more

Stayed at the Central Hotel over the August Bank Holiday for 3 nights. Single room was small but not cramped, decent sized bathroom too. 3 nights for the price of 2 on Expedia worked out at £55 per night. Staff were polite and helpful, and there was free internet access in the lobby. Breakfast was an adequate buffet served in... more

I stayed at the Central Hotel three weekend nights in August, availing of a very good 3 nights for the price of 2 offer. In the end it cost me effectively USD100 per night, which is a very good price for the centre of Stockholm. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. The location is hard to... more

Very comfortable and quiet. Pleasant relaxed helpful staff, and good breakfasts from the buffet. Free coffee in the lobby after midday - Baggage room so that you can make the most of that last day. Very convenient for sightseeing and the shops. Get off the Arlanda Express from the airport, cross the road and you're there. Wonderful. My only complaints... more

Visitng Stockholm for a second time we decided to book in at one of the best ranked hotels on Tripadvisor. We read the reviews carefully and noticed that the Central is near to the Arlanda Express. On arrival we searched high and low for the hotel. Asked locals who tried very hard to help. Finally discovered we had walked past... more
