Stayed here for a couple of days on business. Arrived late but they still rustled up a gourmet burger with an unusual Marie sauce. Really terrific... Used the gym the second night which was perfect for my needs. All in all no complaints

Spent one night at Birger Jarl and was pleasantly surprised. Everything worked like a charm, from check in to check out. Nice rooms (a bit stuffy though), good location and nice breakfast. Can recommend their Junior suite when travelling with young children, a bit pricey but so worth it.

The Hotel was OK &nice and quiet- Breakfast was good Value was terrible - I paid almost €300/night for a basic room. But curtains were too short - waking me up in morning, and this is what causes my low vote

Great hotel near Birger jarlsgatan street. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of great options (try the meatballs, they are fantastic). The rooms were big enough for 3 persons, with a great bathroom. There are a lot of pubs in the neighborhood.

Hotel is pretty, stuff is nice thou the rooms look a little older now but you have everything you need there including big tv and minibar with some mineral water for free. Hotel Birger Jarl is a nice hotel with a good location in the center of Stockholm. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the room was fine although a bit small. Breakfast was also very good with a good selection.

If you like ikea furniture, this is the place to be. But make sure that you are traveling light because most rooms have no drawers!!!!! No bath tub either. Breakfast is good and there is free wifi in room and public area. Several English channels and no HBO. Pack your toothbrush/paste and slippers, no such things in European hotels. Short... More
