POSITIVES: Location excellent for families with children due various attractions within walking distance from hotel. The hotel is also only a short tram ride from the centre of Stockholm as the tram stops right outside the hotel. There was a good selection at breakfast and the bar and restaurant were also good. Most of the staff we encountered were friendly.... More

The Scandic Hässelbacken hotel located on the wonderful Djurgården Island is just a stone throw from The Abba museum, The Circus theatre, Gröna Lund funfair and Skansen, The original restaurant building dates back over 200 years and Scandic moved in in the 90's. We were well received in the reception and and there were no worries about being allowed into... More

Scandic Hasselbacken is a very nice old stylish hotel, I’m sure they have a very long history looking back, if the walls could talk in the restaurant area, I’m sure we would hear a lot interesting things from the old times. Good service and rooms. Our room was nice and romantic in the top floor with a nice view over... More

Hasselbacken is great for Djurgarden. In fact it's the only real option on the island and thankfully it's a lovely hotel. It's 50m from skansen, and 1 tram stop from junibacken and vasa. We stayed as a family of 4, the room was big, and the kids had 2 separate single fold outs, which was perfect. Very comfortable. The only... More

This hotel is one of the few in Stockholm that can accommodate a family of four in a single room, which is why we choose it. However, it’s not the most ideal winter location. The area is pretty dead with hardly any restaurants open nearby. The Abba Museum is across the street (we didn’t go) and the Vasa Museum is... More

The staff did not know regular procedures for the Scandic hotels. Everything from the nervous guy at the check in to the dirty bathroom made this stay unpleasant. The location is however oerfect for families exploring Stockholm with younger kids. The service needs some improvement still. This would not be my choice for hotel for future stays in Stockholm.

The hotel is not good to sleep. In ground floor it has 3 different spaces to listen music and dance so it's impossible sleep in first floor. I don't know if in second floor it's ok but in our room we were offered ear plugs. ... so i guest you understand. About locationm is ok. About cleaning, we stand for... More

A very good hotel. Located in a very convenient location, close to Stockholm city centre, in the heart of the island, where there are museums: Skansen, Vasa, and others. Very convenient for travelers with children.
