This should be a good hotel. It is a conference hotel after all, yet on our first night we were sat in the bar until 830pm and a little hungry went to the restaurant. We waited a while and eventually the waiter appeared and said he wasn't serving anyone else as he'd had a few people in and was tired.... More

Nicely positioned hotel for the ABBA Museum & Skansen Gardens, Vasa & Nordic Museum, its a little away from the main town but its nice walk back into the centre, the theme park is across the road but this didn't effect us at all. Food was good breakfast was exceptional, bar could do with a bit of TLC but more... More

This hotel wins at romance, history and location. I have stayed at the hotel several times since I was a child and will be coming back: the combination of the proximity to museums, the amusement park, Skansen and essentially staying in a park AND the easy, short tram ride to Stockholm city centre for shopping, theatre or whatnot, is great.... We stayed in a family superior room. I had requested a high floor away from the elevator. Upon check in we were given Level 1 (reception is on 2) and close to the elevator. I didn't ask to change because I didn't really care, but it was interesting that my request wasn't listened to, particularly as I am a member.... More

I spent a night at the hotel on a conference with colleagues. Good sleep quality (dark and quiet) although the bed was a bit too soft för my back. Excellent food. Great location; after the conference we went to see a musical at Cirkus, which was literally ten steps from the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance from the... More

Location This hotel is right on the island of Djurgården, perfectly located for a holiday to explore this part of the city. It sits on a hill right near the tram stop and next to Skansen and Gröna Lund, and close by the ABBA Museum, Junibacken, Vasa Museum, the Nordic Museum, and more. Skeppsholmen and its museums are also a... More

Stayed for two nights in a family room. The room had a double bed, a sofa bed (sleeps two). We managed to squeeze in a baby cot as well. The location is excellent for Skansen, Junibacken, Vasamuseet etc. Works very well for families with small kids. The restaurant at the hotel does a good buffet lunch (approx 200 kr per... More

Beautiful hotel in idealic surroundings. Less than 5 minute walk to ferry to other Islands, 2 minutes to bus stop. Staff were friendly but not overbearing, room was fine. Next time we come to majestic Stockholm would have no hesitation in staying here again

Staying in Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn

Neighborhood Profile
Djurgarden & Djurgardsbrunn
The island of Djurgården and its northern mainland extension, Djurgårdsbrunn, impress with a mix of nature and an abundance of museums, while being located in walking distance to Stockholm’s city center. Djurgården not only invites visitors to take endless walks through a beautiful park landscape without having to leave the city, but also offers an incredible range of entertainment facilities, such as an open air museum which specializes in the Swedish way of life pre-industrialization, the renowned Vasa Museum with its legendary sailing ship, and Sweden’s most famous amusement park Gröna Lund, which is more than a 100 years old.
