Located right in the middle of the Old Town within easy walking distance of the Metro and the main sights of the central part of Stockholm. The hotel is quirky, homey and comfortable. Breakfast is included - no espresso available unfortunately for those of us who detest filter coffee - but the food is plentiful, wholesome and varied. The bed... More

We only had one night in Stockholm between flights, but I'm glad we spent it here. First, the bed: it was the softest, most luxurious hotel bed I have ever slept on. The bathroom was a decent size for such an old building, complete with a jacuzzi, although it did have the usual partial shower door (a quirk of Europe... More

Arrived and got upgraded to larger room on the spot. Spacious bathroom has a jaccuzzi hot tub in it. Large sauna downstairs. Dry Finnish sauna with electric heater, double showers, dunk tank made in the place of an old water well, fireplace, and a sitting room. Can be used as a public sauna or reserved for private use for two... More

If you happen to be in Old Town Stockholm, and want to stay in a fabulously refurbished building from the 15th century, I highly recommend one of the 34 rooms in the Lady Hamilton that are named after wild flowers of Sweden. Great paintings, antiques, naval objects, and Swedish folk art are discreetly placed throughout the hotel. If you enjoy... More

I arrived early and needed to use the public toilet. There was tried feces on the floor. Later, my room # 19 had a cracked window, no soap in the shower dispenser and a rug that has not seen a good shampooing for years. The staff was pleasant and tried to make good on the mistakes but it was rather... More

We were unfortunate enough to visit during a heat wave and there was no air conditioning only a small fan and housekeeping were instructed to close windows and leave curtains open, essentially turning the room into a sauna. Plus, the elevator was broken for our whole stay so my 81 year old grandmother had to climb four flights of stairs... More

Large, spacious rooms with unique decor. Great location for restaurants, shops (visit the antique shop across the street!), walkable proximity to transportation (boats, trains, buses). Complimentary sauna was a cool Swedish experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic, kept us going (with a few snacks) until dinner.

Stayed in the Lady Hamilton for 2 nights in July during a heat wave. Elevator was broken, but got an upgrade to a corner room on Floor 2 (that's 3rd floor for the Americans). Corner room 24 was very spacious and having windows on two sides helped with airflow during the extremely warm weather. I prefer more modern and contemporary... More

This hotel was a great value for the location. Steps to the Cathedral, Nobel Museum and Royal Palace. Convenient to the T-Bana (subway) and the harbor area. The staff was so very helpful, especially Peter with his great restaurant recommendations. Clean rooms. Small but functional bathroom.

Convenient location in Gamla Stan - literally just steps from the Royal Palace and Storkyrkan. Interesting decor - filled with maritime antiques.A nice buffet breakfast is included and provides enough fuel for all the walking we did during our stay. Very helpful front desk provided me with the proper phone charger as I had not brought an adapter. Our room... More
